I agree the front page is kinda useless if you don't block the ai tag. But I think a big problem is that multiple of these games might be developed by one or the same couple of people. I don't have a way to prove this of course but I think it's in the realm of possibility for sure

So far today 39 games have been added or updated, of those only 12 have the ai cg tag.
In the last 7 days 371 games have been added or updated, of those 87 have the ai cg tag.
In the last 30 days 1412 games have been added or updated, of those 284 have the ai cg tag.

This is what's known as a baseless rumor. It also have no value as a point. There are some dev's, studios here who have 2 or more games on this site, there are also some dev's who are currently working on multiple games at the same time and their games are on this site.

So basically you read this...

Another exact copy/paste of other 7 games, and I am not talking about the phone games in general, it is the exact same script as these 7 other games, even the opening. The exact same apps and UI. The exact same AI writing. The exact same problems these games have, one example is the misplaced/mixed up dialogues. Since the whole script is faulty, I bet it will have the same problem these others have, in the next update; the mixed up pics in wrong routes.

As you can see, while years between us and mobile of desires have similar layouts, none of these are "copy/paste / exact same script / even the opening / The exact same apps and UI / The exact same AI writing.".

As you can see the claims made in the post you read are false.

Now if that poster can't tell the difference then what are the chances he actually decompiled the files, opened and went through all the scripts and code? And how is he able to tell the difference between the base / stock code that comes with renpy from the user added code?

Also on page 2 of that thread you directed to, it's YOU who first asks if it's 1 person making the games, a different member (not the one that made the original claims) says it "looks like it". So you are doing a lot of than saying it's "sus", you are adding to it and then spreading it.

If you guys don't like something that's up to you but going around spreading nonsense and rumors is not ok.

Well, I am not going to waste my time to look over hundreds of pages of threads just to bring the print screens to try to prove a point to anyone but if you are interested, look through the threads, including one I didn't cite by name before because I didn't remember at the time -stepping over oneself/who is also a dev from the same group of the games I cited-, you will see that Taptus actually asked about him using his code, but it seems that it was resolved between them(unless they deleted those answers from the thread). Then later taptus seems to be helping them - words of the dev from ggp after someone spotted the script with the name taptus on his game. I complained because another dev of this group now surged from the depths of hell to bring another slop based on the same base script. If you want to confirm my words, just look at those threads, if you don't want to, that is ok too, as I said, I don't want to waste my time with this discussion anymore.

Only? Don't get me wrong I think AI has shown to be a great tool when used right but I think over a quarter being AI games is a huge fucking percentage and its not one that's going to shrink.

Looking at those phone games you posted, I think your defence of them was extremely poor, and you where arguing the literal, from a gameplay loop, what matters, they are very much copy paste and members of this site, including myself should probably make an effort in sorting the wheat from the chaff.

We have a situation where who will want to put in effort when it gets buried.

You are taking that out of context, the context was that the latest updates page was useless because of ai games.

Of the 22976 games on this site only 1396 are tagged with ai cg, they are hardly getting in the way of people using the updates page or finding games they want to play.

That was not the claim that was made though, you can't say my points are poor because of topics you only introduce now.
The claims were they are exact copies, the claims are quoted in my post above. I also pointed out that the complaints against ai games apply to all games.

We have a situation where who will want to put in effort when it gets buried.

This is not directed at you. The situation we have is there are a bunch of adults who refuse to use the tools given to them to tailor their visit here. There are some among those who seem to think / feel that each new ai game is a personal insult and we have way to many adults who forget that there are in fact people who enjoy these games and are fine with trying to deny those people these games (completely remove / ban from site, hide them etc.) while loosing their shit when it's done to them and the games they like.

Also remember, just because you or I might think something is slop, it does NOT make it slop, it just makes it slop to us. Others might love it and they have just as much right to find and play games they like / love as we do.
