I mean I'm not standing in for the guy or anything but there was a few times this guy was long with the updates and people did start to predict that this game wouldn't finish.... Then that's around the time the update came out with the dev personally trying to "clap back" at the people who wanted more content or wanted it faster..... Every dev goes through this... the smart ones know it's not really a winnable battle and ignore it.... The ones who fall off usually are the ones who try to battle against it.... This game's current state wasn't really that hard or like out of this world to predict or anything... It's sad because it's the best mafia based AVN out there even if it is a bit wonky... But the fall off was seen from a mile away
Sure. I'm not at all disputing that it couldn't have been seen. I just thought the poster's statement was silly on its face: they say it was predicted long ago by them, then used "deleted account" as "proof". I know that I myself wondered (no proof of this, and I'm not claiming such) about this game, given there hadn't been updates in forever.
To be fair, for every game that is only a coin toss and your chance are 50%. Either the game will be complete (in whatever state) or it will get abandoned on the way.
The latest update that genuinely added new content to the game was roughly two and a half years ago. Back in summer of 2023.
Actually, it's no longer a coin toss. Since 2023, too many VNs are getting abandoned or dragged so long that I would say getting abandoned is a better fate. I would say the number is around 70%.
