Is that over a single year (not bad but not exactly a fortune)? Or over the life of the project (pitiful amount spread over 7.5 years)?
I do think that creator was quite talented but also very thin skinned. Sad to see this game is gone but it had been on this trajectory for quite some time.
forgot about this one.... sad to see it abandoned.
The only game on this site that made me bawl in tears... zero shame. what made this game special was it didnt have the usual kinks i look for in games. just superb writing and gut wrenching story telling...

Honestly, it's one of the only games where I wasn't in a hurry to see sex scenes: Luna's backstory alone won my heart, and it sucks to remember the future mission we would undertake helping Luna in her revenge against those damned monsters.
I was excited about the idea of torturing those scoundrels; death would be too good for them. If I had more than three choices...
The worst part is that our joy doesn't last long. I've never wanted to help a character in a game so badly, it's a shame it'll only remain a dream.

I've heard so much about this game. The plot is something I would enjoy. I know it probably will never be completed but knowing that is it worth a play through?
The plot is decent and the characters are good but I wouldn't recommend playing now when it's abandoned if you don't want to be disappointed.

It was maybe the avn with the most promise - at least surely among them - so much awesome buildup and worldbuilding. Really good.
But all of that is a waste without a conclusion/continutation imo, a fuckfest can be abandoned and still kinda worthwile to play, who cares about an "end" if there is barely any story in the first place.
But this avn was 99% story and most of that was kinda setup for great things to come which we will never see.
The point it ended at additionaly felt partuculary dissatisfiying, esp if you like a ceratin LI.
theres no closure, only lots of open questions.
Kinda like tv-series who keep everything mystical just to really botcher everything in the end (like "lost" or "blacklist" for example) just kinda even worse
You cant even headcannon a "end" for the story as the story kinda barely really began
edit: its not "officially" abandoned by the way, the dev claimed to still work on it like uuhhh 1,5 years or something like that ago and is ghosting everyone ever since (again) and including his patreons

To be honest, if that character really died, it would be peak writing. Few authors have the courage to do it. But the point is that the character's arc clearly wasn't finished, and since it's a porn game, we didn't even have sex with her. So you know for sure she isn't dead. That's why this ending is such a letdown.
I would like to see a turn to the dark side and the "I must protect my family at all costs" trope, but I guess we'll never know what will happen.
