Just Finished the Game(02/01/2022/9:45AM GMT+8) but i wonder where the Holy Grail is, cause it's impossible for it to end with just the death of that Batman Ripoff, there is also that one Maid Zombie in the Ghost Castle plus the Dragon Cave.
There is another ending where you do figure out the location of the holy grail. You have to get all the story scenes before fighting the final boss so that you have all the information and figure out where it ended up. Do a quick thread search, I remember finding someone else had posted a list when I was having trouble finding one scene I was missing.

There is a way around it, I'm just missing some water-walking capabilities (item or spell). Any hints on that?

Huh, I'm quite sure I never went around it, but I guess my eyes glazed over those stairs. I beat the game with the true find the holy grail ending without going over there by the way. There might be something there if you go back for it once you get a magic boat, it might let you go there, but it also might not. This game actually plays the clasical vampire weakness of running water straight, and has water be a serious issue for you.
