One way of another - something wrong with the smiles around here. And the constructive message to developer would be - please work better on characters' faces expressions, most of them are good or at leas acceptable, but in most cases smiling faces looks weird and don't fit to emotional background of the situation in game.
Honestly it looks fine to me. In fact I could say to many people in real life to "fix their face" as their expression doesn't match what I would like to see, or how I would like their smile to be.
What if Kathryn cheats on Luke? If you don't allow Luke to cheat or even push Kathryn to do naughty stuff, but allow Kathryn to do naughty stuff without Luke's input, when those choices occur. Then you get a subtly different result, which suggests a Kathryn cheating route might be on the cards eventually? It seems to me, as time goes on, we're getting more independant choices for Kathryn. She even muses in the last update, that maybe she relies too much on Luke's opinion, and that she should start making more of her own decisions. Contrarily, Luke's paranoia regarding his girlfriend's inability to function, without his input, just seems to get worse, on non-netorase routes. All he does, is worry non-stop about how she can't possibly survive without him. Is he in for a big shock?
You're entitled to your opinion. I've seen no problems in the game so far.
I'm not a fan of cheating so I avoid it whether it's Luke or Kath.
I believe the problem is that with Luke, Kathryn and Rebecca, the dev has done some subtle morphs to get a more unique face. So these changes puts many of their expressions out of whack. Where it seems like they are faking a smile instead of it looking natural. As the jaw is changed slightly. You also see issues with Lukes hair in almost every render because of this. There could be other characters too that these types of things would happen too, I can't remember all of them and their expressions.
Look, ofc it depends from a point of view. If you live in a place where all over around, how you just said - "too many people should fix their faces", - then ofc you will be in love with every not-so-ugly-face-as-you-used-to-see in the game.
Yes. I guess you are probably right about that. But maybe not or it maybe not the main reason of bad smiles in the game. Because, as i've already reported before - there is a Luke model in some other games in use, and it looks about the same as here.

I mean yeah I agree there are times it looks kind off or her smile feels forced but it really isn't a big deal to me it isn't terrible. Only really the smiles on males is what I would say needs work if the intention isnt for the smile for them to give off a creepy feel like with Luke. Kathrynn's is more or less acceptable when it comes to facial expression, I rather not slow down dev time for something small and minor like this.
I understand the reason. It doesn't change anything, in these renders. The dev of the game have to understand and do something with it. That would help. But as for me - i'd take in not what you said, i got scenarions and ideas for games and modds, and when i will ever start do daz stuff, the info you told me would be useful on 1st steps, i guess.
Is that game ideal, no it's far from it. Does this game much better than other games that i saw, definitely yes, it still promising. But i saw quite many games which were looks promising from the start, but the more updates cumming, the more bad they become, like steps of debauchery, with an autistic narcissistic dev there, and many others which turned to be ever more bad afther their promising starts, so i don't even much remember or don't want to waste time naming'em.
Look, if you agree, and i agree, that means that got a feedback about the game here. And it is a constructive note for the dev. No any yelling about too bad faces, but just a note from a fresh look that faces' expressions could be just a little more better, that's it, and am pretty much sure that it won't require years of secret researches in x-labs undeground to try to fix it, so it shouldn't take any significant time from developing time. If it will, then fuck it - i'd play a game with such nice storytelling approach even if characters would be completely without heads there. ^_^
Uh, don't remind me about how that "scene" looks. Am trying to forget it or to use the power of imagination to make a dream of something better, in movements of bodies physics, instead of that "animation". It's one of the hottest scene, with some real action, finaly, and it was made most bad of all.
I wish he would focus on the main story instead of making another side story and waiting longer than usual for a new update of the main story to be released.
Halloween short delay

Hey guys,
I wanted to give you all an update on the Halloween short.
The good news is that this is shaping up to be quite a substantial amount of content! We’re looking at over 200 renders, some animations, and choices that lead to several different outcomes at the end.
The downside—yep, you guessed it—it’s taking a bit longer than expected. I’ll need at least a few more days to wrap everything up, so we’re probably looking at early to mid next week for the release.
On another positive note, I’ve also been making great progress on Chapter Seven while working on this. However, for the next few days, I’ll be focusing entirely on finishing the short so I can get it out to you all as soon as possible.
Working on this project has been a blast. It’s given me a chance to take a creative break from the regular story and explore something different, which has been refreshing. I think it’ll help me return to the main project with fresh eyes once this is complete.

yeah same however I see it as a positive for us and Bobby if we get something out of him taking a little break to do something like this to have fun and not burn out which seems to be the case.I wish he would focus on the main story instead of making another side story and waiting longer than usual for a new update of the main story to be released.
