I don't either but I still look to see what is posted and when you don't need one to see that much. Sometimes you can read first few sentences of devlogs too.

I wouldn't even say that he was working on it on and off in between working on chapter 6. Yeah was a waste of time but meh I don't hate it either since Bobby said he did need a break to not burn out. Be a different story if we got that and never got a proper update till 4 months after but we got a proper update the month before.
