I'm with Joshy on this, I don't particularly enjoy LIs being called sluts. I'ts a game and make believe and all that jazz. Games still reflect reality to a degree. But, let's see a show of hands, all the guys who would appreciate another guy to walk up to his GF/wife and call her a slut.

But we're not talking about real life, we're talking about these games where the women become nymphos, in the way your GF/wife probably never would. I have personal experience of this type of lifestyle, but it's hardly common in the real world, and most couples only just fantasise about doing it. So when you call someone a slut in the real world, it inevitably has a different connotation, to these game worlds where such adventurous sexual behaviour is seemingly commonplace.

Everyone knows that Joshy is 100% into netorase, and there is no way the Luke in his game would ever cheat on Kathryn. So why would his Kathryn ever want to be a cheating slut? We're talking about completely different scenarios. And yeah believe it or not, there are plenty of guys who actually love their wife/girlfriend being a slut and being called one right in front of them.

Even before the cheating her doing a blowbang would perhaps be considered less than "pure". And as you say, a furious/betrayed woman can be less than cordial.

The thing about Luke is, for the most part, he doesn't need to cheat on Kathryn. All he needs to do is tell her what he's getting up to, just like she's doing with him. But for some reason he deliberately decides to keep it to himself, so in effect he's cheating on her. I guess the thrill of doing something wrong, just makes it more exciting for him, and that's why he never tells her, even though a part of him knows it's the right thing to do.

tbh I think more of the issue with calling a fictional character a slut is it ruins the image they have in their head especially if it's a character they love. As well as it can be seen as a negative thing to say especially if someone likes said character.

At least that's why I hate it not to mention everyone has a different definition when one starts to be a slut and one isn't. So I find it real easy to hate that term even in a video game when a character doesn't do anything id consider being a slut. Not to mention to me usually it feels like something these characters wouldn't like to be called one most of the time depending on the character and context of course.

But of course you are right some people actually like that. Like me for instance I like it in the bedroom or if a character might act a little slutty towards the MC or other guys before a sex scene happens. However outside of that I don't like it so much. To me it's a very opinionated word , which is why I try my best not to use it when possible especially when I hate it at times.
