Fuck, we are getting so close to the release of one of my favourite games with sharing ever. I don't care about anything else the day I get to play this new update.

It's one of a handful that go to the top of my playlist when a new update drops, too. Anything outside of that small group has to at least wait until I've finished whatever I'm playing at the time.
Other than the dancing evening, I don't know what I'm looking forward to this time though. I can only remember Nate coming round, and I'm not bothered by him or Franklin. What other scenes are we likely to see?

So far we have teases of the Nate and Pat events, but I have no idea what could even happen between them. The update could just focus on those two big event, maybe?

Maybe, certainly the dancing and maybe the other event could be extended quite a bit, so it's possible. Some follow up from the basement (other than just Franklin there with Nate) and baseball scenes from last time perhaps?

I just wonder what will be greater, Luke's disdain for his father or his desire to always see her being fucked by someone else.
I suppose that Bobby will leave that up to the player? Probably the best way to do it but I could see that stretching development even further. As that would be a pretty major decision IMO.

Potentially a big turning point, if it comes up. I think the sensible thing would be to only have Pat as an option behind Luke's back, but you never know how it will go until we get a confirmation (or just the release, so we can find out for ourselves). The choice you suggest makes me think of the "which button" meme, but it's more nuanced than choosing between two good options...

Middle of October I would say for Loyalty tier first obviously. I will get it when it's out for the $16 tier as I do want to support but I don't really do persistent support. But I fully understand why Bobby wants to reward those that do.

Hey everyone, it's time for another dev log!
I’ve been grinding away on the update, and despite a lot of rerenders and recoding, things are finally starting to come together in a way I’m happy with, balancing each chapter so it feels satisfying on its own and fits smoothly into the larger story is always a challenge, but this one is getting there,
A big reason development stretched out was me being extra critical, some scenes that I thought were “done” just didn’t feel right once I replayed them — too short, not satisfying enough, that meant rewriting, adding dozens of new renders, and recoding sections from scratch, the good news is all the major pieces are in place now, what’s left is stitching it together with some connecting renders and a lot of polish, I’m aiming for another couple of weeks give or take,
I know you’d all love the update yesterday, but I won’t cut corners on quality, that wouldn’t be fair to you or to the project, please remember — if you’re only here to grab the update the second it drops, wait until release day to subscribe, I don’t want anyone feeling burned if their membership runs out just before the update lands,
Here’s the release plan,
Right now the renders and animations are basically finished, I’m deep in the code, refining pacing and making sure the experience is as fun and smooth as possible, I’ll keep posting weekly dev logs until the first release, so expect at least a couple more before the update drops,
- Alpha/Loyalty Test Phase: for members who meet the criteria (at least $150 pledged total, 6 months of membership with at least 3 consecutive), this helps minimize leaks and keeps the rough build limited, alpha testers will be DM’d once it’s ready,
- Tiered Release: after 5 days of testing and fixes, the update rolls out to $16, then $8, then $3.50 tiers, each spaced 5 days apart, each stage will include refinements, bug fixes, and typo clean-up, so by the time it reaches everyone, it’ll be truly polished,

Of course he'll give them access, they've been supporting it for almost 6 months now, and I've obviously already spent like 150 bucks, I need to give them so they can continue supporting it, but maybe someone will leak the game, or maybe when there's a 5-buck subscription, they'll leak the game, but he needs another month to finish all this, not a couple of weeks.

Slow burn means the plot progresses slowly, not that the delivery is being delayed or is slow.
