meh 6 months is kind of normal for alot of games on this site some games even take a year hell some been going past the year mark. So 6 months no big deal to me im used to the wait , only some are able to maintain that 1- 3 month deveolopment mark and keep the same pace.6 months to create an update...brilliant achievement... all the devs are fooling the people who pay...has now become a trend
I think it all comes down to setting expectations. Some games are made by teams, and others are made by individuals. Some games are extremely ambitious and others are very simple. Six months of development can be reasonable or unreasonable, it all depends on how the dev communicates and what the game is striving for. Tools like Daz do not lend themselves to quick production times for small dev teams/individuals making complex games.meh 6 months is kind of normal for alot of games on this site some games even take a year hell some been going past the year mark. fuck the halloween shitI think Bobby should focus on the main story line completion instead of going into halloween special again.
tbh I don't think there is a chance of that this year.... unless he has been working on it while doing this update however I think think next year there is a chance of that sadly now he has hired someonefuck the halloween shit
we need to continue the main story
If Bobby thinks again about making a Halloween event, he’ll put the last nail in his game’s coffin.
What a surprise, animations slow down development yet again ..(Normally I tell people to sub to patreon but as we approach the six month mark I'm just dropping today's devlog here.)
Dev Log - October 26th, 2025
Fingers crossed — this should be the last one before the alpha. I’ve been putting in 12-hour days over the past two weeks cleaning up the mess I made of this update early on, and we’re finally getting there. At this point, all I can really say is: it’ll be done when it’s done. I’m working as fast as I can without sacrificing quality, which is something I’ll never compromise on.
The problem with this kind of work is you often take two steps forward and one step back, and sometimes the other way around. It’s the unpredictable little things, like spending hours on six new animations only to realize the pen holder on the desk somehow moved a foot away from the pens that are now magically standing on their own. Arrrrrg!
I seriously can’t wait to have someone working with me, a second set of eyes to catch things I miss, and someone to take care of the boring stuff. I’m the kind of person who literally falls asleep if I’m not creatively stimulated (I had a hell of a time in school and long work meetings ). But with enough caffeine and a dozen push-ups every hour or so, I can usually power through.
Simply put, I’m really excited to reach a point where I can focus more on the fun and creative parts of making visual novels and less on the repetitive stuff.
If your membership is going to expire and you don’t plan to renew, please message me if you’d like to have the game links emailed to you. I don’t want anyone to feel cheated out of their hard-earned money.
Just keep in mind, if you’re not interested in general ongoing support, it’s best to wait until I post the free release announcement. Then you can choose to pay for access to the preview copies as they come out.
I always try to estimate when updates will land, but it’s honestly a very loose estimate. I wish I were clairvoyant and could tell you exactly when, but that’s just not possible with how unpredictable development can be.
I’ll leave you all with a few more preview renders and one animation, and hopefully by the end of the month we’ll have the new update ready.
Honestly it's one of those things there is no winning no matter what side you are on. For me games I play more for the story I agree animations are whatever to me. But for games like this that are more for the porn I kind of do want them since I don't see the story etc etc being all that special I will rarely play a porn first game without them. What a surprise, animations slow down development yet again ..
When will devs learn that great set of static renders and dialogue, and people using RenPy Auto function at the speed they set for themselves, will almost always be better player experience and takes fraction of time than developing similar standard and length animation.
Animations slow down development in 99% of cases and end result looks great in about 25% of cases, but what is the percentage where slowed development and end result match together so well that players can tell it was worth it? Single digits probably.
This is so easy to just say.....Bobby noo...

Jokes aside, with a well-structured workflow this stuff shouldn't happen. Plan ahead before you start rendering anything. This is for all devs who are currently working on a game, do the boring stuff which is the groundwork and everything else becomes a breeze. Hopefully things work out better for the next update.
Of couse, my comment was meant as general warning, it's up to the devs to figure these things out. Since I've already opened that door I might as well expand upon it:This is so easy to just say.....
