I dont think all sharing games are suited for such romance like hand holding during the sharing process but honestly I think it would be very in character for Luke to hold Kat's hand while she is being fucked tbh.

Then they do a one off event that isn't connected to the story at all and has fantasy elements so people will care even less. For Halloween its the usual someone is secretly a vampire. Someone else turns into a werewolf or zombie. The spooky haunted house and of course the girl dresses in a slutty nurse costume.

If the dev really wants to do these side stories, make it unique. Why not do an alternate cut. Where different things happen in scenes that have already been in previous chapters. Could even change it up significantly with an alternate reality. Maybe its Rebecca and Luke that are together. Santini is a nice guy lol. Alas no, there's a Halloween special just in time for Christmas haha.

Agreed. I understand there are several reasons why a developer might opt to create these special "episodes":
  1. Unique content meant only for high-Tier supporters, something to reward their support with (even if it'll get inevitably leaked here eventually).
  2. "Change" of scenery: allows the dev to not have to worry about retcons, continuity, plot or stuff like that - and just focus on creating a fun little, self-contained story.
However, I personally don't like it. These things always take time away from development of the main game, and that's the reason we are all here for. Especially in solo endeavors like The East Block.

I'm only fine with special episodes if it's only a 1 -2 month delay at the most but I rather they work on it while doing the main game at the same time if they must do it. If a dev does do it I would prefer if they put most of their focus in the main game and just slowly do the specials here and there for fun. ( which seems to be the case with Bobby since it did seems we still got a main game update while he was working on the special)

Quite a fun little update, shame it didn't release around Halloween. Nice of Bobby to make it accessible to all Patrons though. Looking forward to seeing what the new year brings with this game.

It may be clean, but I rarely get a severe threat alert so I'll error on the side of caution. Others have complained too so I'll wait for an updated link on the op.

only MILF - just because you can open the game doesn't mean the executable didn't perform other malicious actions at the same time. I'm not saying the file is infected, just saying there's always a risk opening a file that hasn't been properly vetted and posted on the OP.

It's a false positive, assuming it's from my links on Patreon. I went on my friend's computer and downloaded it and sure enough Windows Defender says it's a virus. Disabled Windows Defender, downloaded it and scanned with Windows Defender and it says no virus's found. I suspect it is doing this as a precaution probably due to many reports from the actually infected versions of my game that are out there on various sketchy websites. I'm not sure what I can do about this aside from paying to have the exe signed. I'll see what I can do.

I scanned the file before unpacking and installing it. There are antiviruses that are too sensitive. :unsure: ;)

I downloaded from patron and I never got a virus warning. This sort of thing happens to a lot of renpy games.
