I really don't see the point in rewriting the game as "what the dev should do". It's only an improvement for yourself. They're not "missed alt routes", they are just "I wish this was what happened there".

I don't play that anymore, no. IMO, the devs did mess it up, but that is just my opinion, and it doesn't give anyone the right to tell the devs what to do with their game. The devs can't fix it if they don't think it's broken, and it's their prerogative to think it's all fine, as they have the vision for the game.
Here, just to avoid going too much off topic, I don't actually think there are any problems. There are some little things that I'm personally not a fan of (e.g., I don't at all like any of the men Katherine can mess around with - the guy in prison is the best of them, and that's a pretty low bar for the others to jump), but they don't make the game broken or full of issues. You have several paths depending on who is going to be faithful or unfaithful, or exploring new things and to what level. Some of those don't have a lot of content, but it's still relatively early in game terms, and there are other branches to be worked on as well, so that's to be expected really.

I don't like any of the male characters Kathryn can play around with in this game (I didn't say that I don't like that she has sex with older men, although the typical older man trope we get in these games isn't one I'm a personal fan of). That has nothing to do with how many fans it has though (or how many fans the other game has, I'm not sure which you were referring to).you don't like that Kat has sex with guys three or four times her age, but that has a lot of fans

I'm more than happy for that to happen, sure!
But you're both missing my point (potentially deliberately). I said I don't like any of the guys Kathryn can fool around with in the game so far. That's it. It doesn't have to have any deeper meaning, just that none of them are characters I personally like (or potentially that I think feel "natural" given the circumstances).
It's what you always get in these games though, because it's what the majority seems to want - creepy men, dirty (literally) men, ugly/old/fat men. Obviously it's got a psychological background to it, as players will be able to see something of themselves in these men; or maybe think that they are better than those men and therefore they would be able to have a shot, so it makes them feel better; or maybe it's a control element and it just excites some people to see young women being used by the above-listed men. Whatever the reason for it, it's fine, there's no kink-shaming here, it's just not a kink that does anything for me personally.
It would be nice once in a while if the other men in a game were just regular guys who in another circumstance could be the girl's boyfriend or husband though. That's why I say the guy in prison is the best of the bunch for me, as he at least seems a bit more like he could belong in a circle of friends with the MC/Kathryn. The two guys working the photo studio/marketing team are almost in the same boat too, they just tip too far over into "creepy" for me.

It's a forum, a place where people share opinions. You don't have to be interested in all of them - I'm certainly not, but everyone is entitled to have their own opinion. People are talking about certain aspects, and I've responded with my thoughts, and answered their questions. I'm not trying to force them on anyone, or say that mine are right and everyone else's are wrong.
As to the actual sensible question you ask, it's not just about the visual aspect, the story plays an important part for me. If I feel that an event doesn't make enough sense, it takes me out of the story, and more than anything else, I'm playing to get invested in a story, not to get myself off.
I don't know why you are getting attacked for stating your preferences and opinion, quite clearly and concisely too as a matter of fact. I fully don't share or agree your preferences, especially on the story vs porn aspect in an AVN, but you made your stand respectfully more than any of these caveman speakers here bashing and hating. I'm seeing something of a pattern but that's just me.

I 100% agree with his opinion 2 I don't like any options but the guy in prison but this game is still my favorite in this genre. There is a few guys im almost okay with but I know they are shitty so I dont like them.

Dude, what are you even arguing? I'm not trying to force the dev to change his game to suit my tastes. All I did was respond to questions and explain what my personal tastes are. Not everyone has to be interested in every opinion (by the way though, you don't speak for everyone, remember that), but it doesn't mean that those opinions that don't line up with yours are not allowed.
For your reference, I like this game (see my review here), but that doesn't mean that I have to like every single aspect of the game. I'm sure there are some things you don't like either in each of your favourite games.
As Dkdk says (thanks, btw), I'm not being disrespectful in my comments, I'm just joining in with the conversation. Maybe just take a step back, breathe, think what you're responding to before just jumping in and attacking someone for having an opinion.

Your argument makes a lot of logical sense, but that's not porn logic. For me, rolling out a line of 'suitable' guys would just be a cookie cutter clone production line. They would soon lose all personality and flavour. This way, while I might not like them all, there is at least space for some variety, tension and downright filth.
