lmfao how is saying he isn't waiting for her to turn slut means he is a hater. From what I recall he just said multiple times he is waiting for the game to have the content he likes nothing wrong with that. To me it looks like you are making a big deal over nothing when he never said anything negative.

Although Patreon has some policy rules when it comes to adult content, this will not hinder the overall VN in any major way. There is only so much Patreon can limit when it comes to U.S. creators since they can't impose unconstitutional restrictions to freedom of speech, art, design and expression as that is a given right by law. However, when it comes to countries outside the U.S. then that is something I am not familiar with, but again this is nothing major and will not affect the overall VN. Most countries have some form of freedom of speech and expression as well, so it should be fine. The East Block is still gonna be awesome, hot and entertaining! ;-)
As for Patreon, I'm a member and support many creators on Patreon, some of which I discovered here on F95Zone, and from what I heard from some creators is that SubscribeStar is not always 100 percent when it comes to paying it's creators on its website, which is something Patreon doesn't do. Patreon always honors its payment obligations to all members/users/creators, which is one of the main reasons I trust Patreon when giving my support to Devs / Creators and Artists. But to each their own.
Nevertheless, I agree with you, friend - Artistic freedom shouldn't be restrained or restricted by any third party anywhere.
On a final note, I believe The East Block - Chapter 7 is going to be very hot and entertaining. So, here's another re-shared photo from the Fan Art Thread. ;-) - I hope you and all The East Block fans have a great Sunday and week ahead!

Lol, that's exactly the other way around. See youtube / twitch, the rest of the world has to follow the puritanistic positions of conservative american groups, because free speech is protecting the individual from the state, it doesn't limit what a company is allowed to censor (or demonetize / suppress in their algorithm)) on their own platform (what is limited is discrimination against specific groups and so on, but that's not because of free speech). If you're not happy with the limit of the platform, you don't have to post your content on it, there are alternatives, so your free speech isn't violated.
Most of the restriction on patreon are most likely due to lobbying from american interest groups (or even more stupid, Patreon being afraid to anger them and preemptively being more strict), and Patreon caves in order to not lose access to the US.
Fellas, the official release for loyalty tier comes out tomorrow or Wednesday according to dev's patreon - an actual firm release window. That gives us a week-ish for the leak to end up here, so early May optimistically.

Hey guys, I wasn't going to post again until the initial release, but I've been seeing a lot of you commenting on my last post about when it's going to be released. I'm very close. I'm expecting late tomorrow or Wednesday to release the first version to loyalty members for testing.
I know you're all waiting patiently and I appreciate that. And to all my Canadian patrons, get out and vote today if you can!

I was actually responding to someone's post about this and stated that I don't believe this will affect the VN game much at all. I don't have any issues with Patreon about their policies except when they screw up as with any company lol. But overall, I agree with some of your views on this but not all. Also, adult sites, which are companies behind adult businesses, are required in some U.S. states to have the user verify their age to make sure they are adults, which is a bit overkill, but I understand the concerns on both sides. I can't speak on things I am not 100% sure about either. I don't believe sites / companies like Patreon or others will be foolish enough to disrupt creators / devs and their works in any major way that can prompt some major legal challenges, and like I mentioned before - I don't believe it will affect The East Block or other VN creators either that use Patreon as it stands now and moving forward. Nothing has really changed.
On a bright note, I'm totally looking forward to The East Block - Chapter 7 - though, which is expected to be released soon! - Cheers!
