Hey everyone, it's time for another dev log!
After a short break and handling some family stuff, I’m back at it, full steam ahead on Chapter 8. Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve made solid progress: around 100 new renders completed, the first scene fully written, and part of the second underway. As I mentioned before, I’ve been extra careful this time to make sure all the assets used in this chapter are optimized for smooth rendering with minimal post-work. Testing everything beforehand really paid off.
This chapter will mainly focus on Kathryn and Luke, with two smaller scenes featuring other characters to help push the story forward. We’re now past the halfway point in the game, and things are about to heat up on the East Block. While Chapter 8 will have fewer renders than Chapter 7, it won’t be light on story. There’s going to be a lot of dialogue that dives deeper into the main characters’ thoughts and motivations, and I’m really excited to share more lore and depth with you all.
That said, there will still be some very steamy scenes, plus plenty of choices to explore. I’m working on adding more content to the “pure” path to make those choices more rewarding, and I also plan to go back and flesh out some earlier chapters to ensure a better balance no matter what path you take. Speaking of choices—there are some major ones coming up for both Luke and Kathryn, so choose wisely.
Originally, I was going to roll out some quality-of-life updates after Chapter 7’s launch, but I’ve decided to include them in Chapter 8 instead to avoid confusion about new content. That means the scene gallery, revamped save/load screens, and character profile screen will all be debuting in the next update.
One quick note about the loyalty release for Chapter 8: it will require three months of consecutive membership, plus the same criteria from the last update. I’ll explain all the details in a separate post soon, so if you want early access to help test, make sure you’re subscribed to at least the $3.50 tier starting now until release.

There are some mediocre TV shows who get carried hard by one incredible character played by excellent actor and I think in this industry there is similar effect where some games have just this one perfect babe who hooks you and you keep coming back to the game no matter the imperfections in other aspects. That's not to say I like this game only because of Kathryn, but she is literally perfection so I am here until the end for better or for worse.

I would say it might be a mistake from the branching since it's possible for her to not do anything there. However I notice games in NTR / NTS genere usually overlook things like this more than games that aren't about NTR and NTS

I think that might be part of the reason I liked the gloryhole despite disliking them most of the time. It was funny , Kathryn was having a good time and Kathryn makes anything hot and exciting for me. Also it was a bit different than the usual ones ive seen.

i actually liked her original look. it was more unique. not that i dislike her new look. it just would've been nice to have a sex scene or two with that appearance before she grew out her hair.

If some other guy accidenty gets Kathryn pregnant and Luke steps up and does the good boyfriend thing and assumes responsibility, I'll be so happy.
I know the game has some pretty crazy scenes, but an ending like that? My goodness, it'd be so beautiful and romantic for me.

One could call a non-biological father who steps up many things, caring, mature, nurturing, pushover, emasculated, but one adjective I certainly wouldn't use is "romantic"

May I ask you why FIN and Hillside are your fav games even though you like NTR games more such as this one?

I did have this as my signature for a while, but I usually change them every few months.
And I do love the east block but until it finishes I can't really trust that it won't force stuff on me like so many games with both NTR & NTS, so even though I love it I am always going to be cautious when playing a game in this genre.
