hmmmm Bobby estimating Fall 2026 for Steam / the game to be completed somehow I get the feeling gonna be a bit longer than that. As wasn't there 11 or 12 chapters planned? Then Steam takes awhile to do.
He's planning thirteen chapters right now but if the story expands he might have to increase it.

According to your last 1000 or so posts you never donate and nobody should ever donate to any dev as they're all milkers... Your saying you actually donate to a dev?? Which one?
Wow you are a F***ing liar, I have several games I have supported and never said all devs are milkers I am reporting you for lying and defaming me. If you must know this is the link to the game I have supported. I am waiting for the next update to support them again. Maybe check my comments on that page and you will see I discuss supporting them so clearly within my last 1000 or so posts I HAVE stated I donate.

Bobby has hired someone to help with the game because he wants to release updates faster.

I was originally skeptical because I've seen it blow up in a devs face before but hopefully Bobby can make it work.
I saw the Patreon post headline. I wonder if it says what the new employee will do though, as that can be the factor in "blowing up in the dev's face" as you mention.

I think it'll blow up. TEB falls for all the cliches of the genere but still manages to be entertaining enough to have a fanbase, so it must have something to do with the developer being the sole proprietor of it. hopefully the added help works out but if i had to guess, this'll fall flat. also, the dudes been doing it for 2 almost three years now, you'd think he'd have the development process down by now

Here is what he said on Patreon about it. I trust Bobby and I think he knows what he's doing.

Hey everyone,

Just a quick update, I’ve officially brought someone on board to help with the game starting next month! They’re experienced in coding, image and video editing, and have solid knowledge of both Daz Studio and Ren’Py.

This is going to be a huge help moving forward, with the main goal being faster update releases. Don’t worry, the artistic vision, style, and overall direction of the game will still remain completely under my control. Having an extra set of hands will free me up to focus more on the creative side of development and ease some of the stress from the more time-consuming technical work.

It’ll also give me more flexibility when life stuff comes up, so progress doesn’t grind to a halt if I’m unavailable for a bit.

I’ll go into more detail about this and what it means for the future of the game in the next dev log.

Alright, back to work!

Bobby

This is what I wish some other devs did, especially the ones who have plenty of resources to actually hire competent people, but sadly most devs have too much ego and wouldn't let anyone touch their work even under strict supervision. I hope this move works out for the best for everyone, thanks for report Joshy!
