GOFILE, PIXELDRAIN, MEGA, MEDIAFIRE, WORKUPLOAD are probably the best of the bunch, only GOFILE requires no account to upload to. If you don't want to use any of those, find one from the ilst you like.
So I need to download the update then upload it to host site? Can I just post the link the dev made?

If you want, that's up to you. Always a chance the dev can axe it on their end, but most can get it before that and reupload it.
