Kudos the the dev, a very rich update !
Something wrong and strange with the story , but our developer has a lot of fantasies! Scene of wife exibithionism in the dress shop is really funny and exciting!
As usual, the scenes with the wanker in the street are really out of logic, let's skip them.
A good game with the right kinks, pity for gore scenes, I don't understand why put them in the game.

Having no option to have the sister bash in the security guard's face in was a mistake. The resulting possibilities would have been endless. She could have become the new right hand/lover of Mr. Santini thus making it easier for Luke to corrupt Kathryn. Or at least become a wild card, maybe even trying to drive a wedge in between our two love birds. You know, something exciting. Instead we got a Kathryn who doesn't even go to the cops after her own private horror show. People in cages, man. What the hell? You don't go to the police after that?

tbh im glad we didn't even if it was optional would of ruined Rebecca's character for me. I mean the scene already almost ruined her character for me until she backed out and tried to stop it from going to far.

I don't know, nothing puts me more in the mood for a Fun Carefree Beach Break like watching a man get his brain bashed in by my sister's psycho boss, except maybe finding a dungeon full of drugged-out prisoners in my building's basement run by my clearly homicidal neighbours.

I mean if you are in it for only the porn yeah id I would agree with you but I disagree cause it's clear Bobby is trying to tell a story and have porn / NTR / NTS elements in the story. While it may not be an amazing story , those elements is what I consider to be good about the story so far and those 2 scenes made this game go from meh don't care about the story to okay now im playing for story and porn. Especially because alot of AVN's I do play for the story one thing I do dislike is how almost all of them never really get that dark often feels to safe might be cause im used to AAA video games and the story telling from there as well as TV

Yeah it is a bit off how cheerful Rebecca and Kathryn are but at the same time it makes sense. Because the beach was already planned so they don't want to bring down the mood or made it a bad time for others or make their family worry. So to me I think they are just putting on a brave face and forgetting about the the bad things they seen in the last 24 hours.

Honestly, i really appreciate this game. But... 6 months for this update ? I mean, the dev has more that 650 paying customers on patreon, probably making pretty good cash with this activity, i just can't understand how people giving money aren't so pissed off. Not mentionning he announced a March release and then kept delaying and giving excuses.
I'm pretty new in the VN game world, maybe i'm delusional but is that common to wait 6 months for 15 min of gameplay updates ? Or is he milking his followers & this may blowback one day ?

Maybe you should give it a try and create your own VN!?!? Not judging...just a humble opinion

That was a super hot gloryhole scene. There aren't enough games with them in it in a meaningful way, and this one was excellent. My favorite part, though, is how the cumshots aren't just a still of one shot. Nobody shoots once, and I always find one-shot freeze frames of cumshots annoying and not satisfying. This was awesome.

Yeah, I agree with these sentiments, too. The only thing that would have made the gloryhole scene better is if she did it on her own without asking for Luke's opinion. The agency in this game is fairly good, with being able to make a lot of decisions, but one where Kath gets to make the decision to cheat behind his back is one that needs to be added.

I would say she is just starting to get some character deveolopment. Before now Rebecca was more or less just a hot victim to feel bad for. But now she has seen how crazy their boss is I think she is going to start to do something and get some deveolopment.

I don't think she has forgotten the events , I think she is just putting on a brave face and acting like everything is okay. Because if you don't want others to worry or think something is wrong or just cause them planned beach hangout to be ruined for others you put on a brave face and have fun and act like nothing is wrong.

Just a heads up, you might want to break Kathryn's Gallery down into pages as there are so many scenes in it, that scrolling up and down or exiting a scene could cause the game to freeze and stall/crash.

I've been able to access a few scenes in it, but it freezes/stalls/crashes at the end going back to the gallery (Kathryn only).

Pages may solve this issue. Maybe reduce the number of scenes to 12-16 per page?

How ya'll on your hands and knees begging for an update then as soon as it arrives try to crap all over it? Don't act like wizards and scholars when you were whining like babies two seconds ago XD

I felt the story developments being left hanging for the beach trip felt a bit immersion breaking but beyond that it was a very good update. I mostly can't wait to learn more about the main plot. Beach was fun, balls were drained, but I can't wait to see more in the city! I mean the game is literally called The East Block. So while this update was a great change of pace, I'm looking forward to a more standard one in the future.

I sure didn't beg, only idiots do that. Also you don't know what the update will be like until you have played it. I loved the initial game but I don't assume that just because something starts great means it will continue great. The amount of time waited vs the amount of quality content delivered is pathetic and anyone who thinks that the 2% of this content that was great vs the 98% that was boring and a waste of time makes this a good update is just so used to crap that anything slightly about crap is great to them.

SORRY, but this update was 98% crap. Period.

I only disagree with this part. For me it was one of the best updates for this game and better than most NTS games ive played when it comes to the content in the update I like as I thought the scene at the end was really well done and I typically hate Gloryholes tho there is a few ways I could think that would of improved that scene for me personally like have Luke join the line and get sloppy seconds after she fucked that guy. But it heavily depends what you are looking for in the game. I really didn't find any of it boring it got me to switch from this a pure porn game to one I play for both story and porn.

But also im one that doesn't play these game purely for the porn either. I'm more in it for the characters and interactions with them. So mostly Kathryn but I also loved the Rebecca content. I got a few extras scenes to play later. I honestly enjoyed the hell out of this one and for me it was worth the wait. But of course mileage will vary depending on what you look for in a game like this. But yeah if you are in this for purely the NTS or cheating / porn then yeah I would have to agree with you.

The only thing I did not like really was the cliffhanger. Because the implications is Dominic is gonna potentially ruin any Alex scenes for me now. Of course Clem makes me dislike her more every update.

Yeah kind of hard too when she needs character development. Only reason I said your suggestion would ruin her character for me cause I don't see her as bad or evil or anything. Not that she is a sweet innocent girl either but taking that step even if it may or may not be out of character depending what Bobby has planned. It just would kind of ruin the image I have of Rebecca when I think of her is all.

And her sister watches a guy get his head bashed in, murdered, and she also goes to the beach like it's all honk-dory. That just killed the realism for me and makes absolutely zero sense. No one would behave that way. At a minimum they both would have been freaking out and told someone while trying to decide what to do about it. And that's even less probable than at least Kat calling the cops over the prisoners the instant she was free. If I was the Dev I'd rewrite this last update. The game is worth it. But if he leaves it as is, it'll just go to shit.

This is such a great game story wise and I can appreciate how it's written for Kathryn's personality to be devoted in fulfilling Luke's fetish. But, seems to me as much as she enjoys the "dirty slut" things she does, I think it's time for her to experience those desires without Luke calling the shots. She's already thought how she depends on Luke too much anyway. Besides he gets to fuck anyone he wants(if that's your choice) and don't tell her anything. Kathryn deserves the same pleasures and I hope those desires start pushing her.

i'm in the middle on this. I kind of agree with you and don't. On one hand I think Kathryn should at least talked to Luke at minimum as soon as possible not later ( I assume she will tell him in the next update). I also agree that we should of seen some freak outs from at least Rebecca.

Where I disagree with you is when it comes to Rebecca. I only disagree in the sense I can see why she might not talk or say anything. From my pov I think she could be just putting on a brave face , trying to act like every is okay and nothing to worry about. Because it was a pre planned event and don't want to cause anyone to have a bad time , Or doesn't want anyone to worry especially family. Plus for all we know Santi could of threatened her more or worst after the murder we didn't see after that point. So in my mind a beach with family and friends is a way to forget everything for a few hours. I can see the same applying to Kathryn too.

Now im not saying what I wrote is true I could just be wrong and the dev just didn't put any logic behind and using AVN logic. But with that mindset and pov it makes some sense to me and is what works for me even if it isn't true. Of course that also entirely depends on the person. I could tell you if it was me id be more freaking out in private or just in my head but around people I wouldn't. As im a very introverted person as I wouldn't want someone seeing me freak out and asking if I need help etc etc. It would take me sometime to find the courage to even talk about it with someone so until then id act like everything is normal especially with family. That is why I can see how it can make sense for them just pretending like nothing is wrong for a few hours.

Unzip the mod and place the folder named "game" from the mod in the "TheEastBlock-0.7.1-pc" folder. Or overwrite if necessary.

I did that and got non-skip error.

EDIT: Re-DL'd all 3 pieces and the fix seems to work. Too many DL's a day to recall all.
