The updates storyline is drama for drama´s sake with unavoidable NTR. WTF? We saw Luke for 7 chapters coming to grips with his sharing/swinging fetish, now he wants nothing to do with it any longer so the NTR fanbois can wank. Hardcoded even.
"Perfect", another example how the poison touch of NTR taints character development and story, wherever it pops up. And it took over half a year to produce this stuff farmers bring out onto the fields. Unwatched!

Sorry for my harsh verdict, but I doubt you feel much better yourself. This update is a kick in the gut of any TEB sharing/swinging fan and character assassinates most characters in game, even an all-around a... like Nathan. That is something not easy.

The poll itself isn’t the problem. The game is meant to be choicebased, so whether you’re into NTR, NTS, or a pure path, everyone is supposed to get their fill. Players make their own choices, mold the couple’s relationship, and face the consequences. The real issue is the character assassination and lack of options.

If we had just one choice, like letting Kath leave with the MC or at least side with him if their relationship is strong during the restaurant segment, it would have fixed things. And then there’s the drama, which feels overly convoluted and like it’s trying too hard.

Isn't it obvious what happened?

Bobby wrote the ending of Chapter 8 as is on purpose, to converge all the paths into a singular point as a form of a soft reset and make it easier on him to write future scripts.

A terrible move in the end, and a hallmark of weak writing when you have to force the story into "this" box so you can continue it.

That's all it comes down to, I guarantee it.

It s always the same with these kinds of polls. Most people don t care about story or character development. For them, it s pure lust...the desire to watch a once-faithful couple crash and burn. That s the main reason. It s like those old, cruel websites such as Rotten or LiveLeak... horrible pictures and videos of people dying. Deep down, you knew it was wrong to visit those sites, but you did it anyway. It s in our nature to want the power to make people miserable, or to make good people do terrible things....just to feel better about ourselves. And unfortunately, seeing a happy couple break up, cheat, lie, or sleep with strangers in front of each other (specifically to hurt one another) has become one of the most popular fantasies. Its called "Schadenfreude"! It s like handing someone a gun and saying, "You can shoot anyone you want....no consequences." Let s be honest: a lot of people would do it.

Most of us, deep down, feel a twisted kind of satisfaction when we get to "destroy" something. Because their pain (in this case, Kat s and Luke s) isn t our pain....and that distance makes it exciting (not on my watch). It makes people want to inflict even more suffering and humiliate the couple further. Let me quote a line from Batman : "Some men (people) just want to watch the world burn"!

Maybe I m wrong with this take... I just wanted to find an explanation for why that poll turned out so shitty.

This story is going well for me. The problem here, and in most stories that developers create, is the reader's ENORMOUS anxiety. In this one, I followed the launch and stayed away for several cycles, and I do this with stories that I see potential in. This one has potential, and in this last one, the developer has at least three possible paths. As much as they deny it and want the girl to develop resistance and charm, in the end we want her to be, THE SLUT, the WHORE, and thirsty to CHEAT and SLEEP a lot!
To the developer, stick to your writing and script, if you have one, of course. It won't please everyone, as always happens in all stories, but so what!
So far it's good. I'm waiting for a few more cycles to read and see where things go.

so I got bored and played part of the gloryhole scene and the flasher scene and man it feels night and day how different how both Luke and Kathryn seem to look and act compared to this update. Especially if you compare how they look without the AI usage even tho I don't hate the AI I tolerate / like some of it and dislike other parts of the AI usage.

Thing is these fans don't care about the story or relationship as long as they can get their rocks off, when all we want is a choice here, and dev doesn't even care about the game anymore, just money.

I would say I hope this game fails now, but it won't, the NTR fanboys will fund him whatever he wants, he will accept cause he is a shill that doesn't really care about his fans or his other supporters who are in minority, cause I guess not enough money.

Its things like this why I don't really support many devs, cause at end of the day, a lot of them are trash like this one turned out to be.

It's also going to be a double edged sword. Now that he has started the NTR ball rolling, going back to NTS or Loyal just isn't going to work for the paying supporters that he is now trying to please. They will expect to get their money's worth and for NTR to be the main focus going forward.
