I would suggest the new update, but I don't know where the figures come from. I personally am awful at trying to judge how much playtime is in a game, and everyone plays at different rates, so it's not that useful a figure, IMO, except as a quick way of saying it's not a five-minute wonder...

How likely is it that a native English speaker could finish 1,200 renders in less than two hours? Not hard, is it?

Hey everyone, I'm happy to announce that the newest update to The East Block is now available in beta to $16 members. Sign up now and download the game for PC, Mac and Android.

This new update includes the following features:

• 1200 new renders
• 200 full motion videos
• A new save system that allows you to name your saves
• 2 - 2.5 hours of gameplay
• All images converted to webp for much smaller game download size.
• Chapter 1 now has most scenes updated with full motion video with more to come.

Thanks to all the alpha testers who helped me fix lots of bugs.

Why are you shocked, this dev has telegraphed that they milk their players for MONTHS, they even lied about how often they would release updates. NO ONE should be paying for this crap.... maybe if everyone stopped the dev would realize they need to step it up.... but why would a dev with idiot followers change anything when they get paid for doing very little.

New update animations are full of gen-AI and not the good kind. It is the lazy kind that tries to smooth out any fine details from scenes and tries to replace faces with realistic ones that look nothing like main characters. Judging by no tags of AI or dev log mentioning I guess this is a new thing.
