Yes, they have. The East Block Chapter 8 is definitely hot, epic and awesome, which opens up many paths for Chapter 9 and beyond. Bobbyboy Productions did a great job overall.

Good stuff! Patroned and followed and liked because its a good product albeit slow updates, I like the developing plot about a conspiracy. One minor gripe I had this time though was the sad music at the end the female protag cheats on Luke. Not necessary? Its a porn game I thought? Not a PG romance novel about the importance of partner fidelity. I can do without the guilt trips and well Luke did similar with other women in my game before so its only fair... That said love the game and thank you, please don't think I'm complaining too hard, I'm not. Hope for more updates and soon. (if the dev even reads these of course)

Common Steam W, I don't understand why Dev's adds AI animations mid game. Your player base played the game because they liked renders and animations you've created and now you're just replaced it with lifeless shit artificial animations. It's almost like shooting yourself in the foot after you aimed your gun at the air for 2-3 years.
That being said I do love cartoonish AI games like Moonripple Lake, Shadows of Ambition and etc, because they don't look real life like and are done with attention to detail and you can see the effort put in by their Dev's and whatever is in this are neither like 80% of other games that added AI animations mid way through the game. Really disappointed that East Block has gone this way.

I agree with you on that, friend. While the story has emotional depth that happens in real life and the end of Chapter 8 was a bit sad and dramatic, it left the door open for chapter 9 to sort things out, which I believe will happen. The other hot scenes like the one with Franklin at Luke and Kathryn's apartment and the Web Streaming was very hot and well done.
But overall, The East Block Chapter 8 was awesome and it was another solid update by Bobbyboy Productions. By the way, constructive comments and suggestions are always appreciated, so all good. Cheers!

I'm really disappointed there were so few animations this update. Where is character chest moving with breathing animation in every frame? Where is eyelid movement? Why aren't there birds flying in open shots and clouds moving? WHERE ARE THE ANTS ON THE GROUND STEALING COOKIES???
Ok, I'm just being silly. Point is, why so much fucking water animations... a lot of wasted resources with result that is distracting and not well optimized. And then after that beautiful cinematic of arriving at motel (which is fine to have), sex scenes look like Toy Story characters humping each other at times. Lifeless, awkward. And I have to agree that these AI animations sometimes make characters look like different people, skinwalkers...
Now with bad stuff out of the way. I was impressed by variety of cast involved this update, made the game feel alive instead of being standstill with only few main characters witnessing any activity in the world. Even a short appearance has a big effect on updates so it is my advice to always try to involve as many characters as possible because there will always be some fans who are most happy to see someone specific even just briefly. There were also some elements in almost all scenes that I really enjoyed so even if I dislike some parts of the scene it wasn't totally ruined. Some firsts happened for our dear girlfriend as well so that's good, hopefully won't be 1 step forward 2 steps back kinda situation. Choices were appropriate as well, I wasn't annoyed by them appearing and gave decent sense of control from multiple angles.
Do I still think this game is one of the giants in the sharing genre? Yes, but going forward I hope there is less hiccups in developement, less drama and less "playing around" with fancy tools and thinking about optimal and enjoyable experience for player long term. Good luck!

i hope more devs use AI animations since you guys always begged for them to make anymations (and it usually looks like shit) when they were not necessairy at all.. now at least the updates will take 1 year instead of 5 because of the damn crap you guys asked thedevs to make lmao

I don't like it when a game suddenly has AI-controlled cutscenes forced on it. The truly valuable part of the game was the dialogue and choices. These cutscenes are far worse than in all the previous installments. In my opinion, it's quite wrong to use this tool in a game without knowing how to use it properly. A real shame.

Boy no one is asking for shit ass AI animations. If Bobby had us washing this long for AI slop then he should’ve been up-front with it. Idk why you’re getting mad at the people for waiting almost 8 months for an AI filled update with bad writing when Bobby had hella time to slowly put a good update out and not switch to AI mid-game. Also, who is constantly begging for animations? Most people just want an update that isn’t 5 minutes in length.

First off, The East Block Chapter 8 was very well done overall and the only thing that is bad here is your BS troll comment and insults just like the other low life trolls on here. Take your BS trolling somewhere else if you don't like it! No one cares for your negative crap. If you don't like someone's work, move on instead of trolling with your exaggerated and misleading BS.

Another great game lost to AI slop . There must be some sort of AI blindness that people have to not see how bad the AI animations were. She literally doesn't look like the same person in several of them, particularly the photoshoot portion. Wouldn't be so bad if they weren't forced. I'd definitely rather just have stills than whatever that was. It's also worrying that the dev looks at them at says ye good enough.
