Hey guys it’s time for another dev log
This one will be short and sweet since there’s not too much new to report, I’m still working hard whenever I can get a break from real life and the game is getting close to completion as far as assets go, the big focus now is making sure everything gels together and is actually fun to play, pacing is so important in these games and it’s always tricky to bring all the parts together so they feel like a complete piece of work while still fitting smoothly into the larger story
For this chapter I pushed myself to innovate more with the visuals and while I’m proud of how it’s turning out it definitely slowed me down, so now I’m grinding hard to catch up to where I wanted to be, we’re still a few weeks away from a release candidate that I’d call ready, so realistically we’re now looking at October for the release, not what I wanted to say but I need to be upfront with you guys, if you’re worried about your membership running out just message me and I’ll make sure you’re on my spreadsheet so when the update is live I can get you the links, I never want anyone to feel ripped off or disappointed so if money is a concern reach out and I’ll work with you, I’m always fair with people who support me
Here’s where we stand right now
Images: 800 / ~850
️ Animations: 102 / ? (with several redone or replaced)
Coding: 5.5 / 6 scenes
Extras: none for now since I’m laser focused on finishing the update and making sure it both looks and plays great
I’m going into crunch mode for the next couple weeks to focus fully on this update, don’t worry I’m not going to burn myself out, my wife is super supportive and often helps me flesh out scenes which is amazing because she gives me an honest outside perspective and helps me make the content stronger
Thanks again for all the support, it really means the world, I’ll try to get a few more posts up this week, not renders from the update since I don’t want to spoil too much, but I’d love to start letting you guys pick outfits and vote on some of the new characters I’ve designed for upcoming scenes

Seems to me like he was napping and this was his over the top reaction at being woken up.

But yeah there will most likely be some of that, he's certainly ugly enough and most seem to love that shit. I would rather things focus on her and Pat here though, rather than some random guy.

I would also prefer if there wasn't NTR but it seems like Bobby is putting it in. So if it's there I would rather things progress with Pat. After all Bobby already gave us the option to fuck Courtney last update (which I did of course ) so why can't Kath get some? Also what happened Joshy you used to want Pat to knock Kath up? For Luke to raise his brother. That was never going to happen on an NTS path IMO as Luke can't stand his dad.

Maybe he meant that the game would be released between October 20th and 30th, but he said that Part 8 would be released much faster than Part 7, which was released then.

It is a bummer that the time between updates is stretching longer, the 1 month turnaround between chapter 1 and chapter 2 is a big part of what excited me about this game in the first place.
Don't get me wrong I understand why development time is stretching; branching paths, QOL improvements, etc all add time - still I wish Bobby's dev logs had less "I'm working on improving quality" and instead had more "I'm working on making development more efficient."

I've followed (and supported) other adult games where the developer talks endlessly about "Making their game better and more beautiful", they end up spiralling into the One Update per Year category.
