I'm sorry but I really don't get it.

The whole game has consisted of nothing but putting this couple through much wackier "forced" situations where they can engage (together or separately) in extra marital sexual antics, with how far things go always within the player's discretion to some degree. This latest one's no more "forced" in that regard, in fact I'd say the player has far more control over it in this latest situation than in previous instances and it seems far more grounded and less forced.
We're talking about a game where at the very start of it the wife/girlfriend lets a couple of strangers kiss her and grope her on a park bench - forced, the player can't avoid it - and then calls her boyfriend with pictures to ask what he thinks of it. A chick who not long after gets naked and masturbates for those same creeps - again forced - with the MC present or watching.

The only difference I see in this latest situation is that this is the first time where the LI can engage and go all the way with another man (if the player chooses to, it's not forced at all) without the MC ever being aware nor involved nor encouraging her to begin with. It's the first time she can truly cheat/go NTR (netorare) - and only if the player forces her to, thereby making it fake ntr to begin with- as opposed to going NTS (netorase).

The LI doesn't suddenly turn on her boyfriend to start saying mean things about him or thinking less of him even if he left her behind after storming out of the club following his tiff with his dad. She's not explicitly mad at him nor jonesing for his dad. There's no clear reason to believe she went to that motel with any intent to cheat. She and the dad get on the highway driving back to MC when a flash flood/storm hits them and they're forced to seek shelter. They ask for separate accommodations/separate beds. They take the only thing available. Could've asked for separate rooms but the result would be the same, and the unemployed guy who crashed on his son's couch did think/worry about the cost of the rooms before going in.
She sleeps on the bed, the dad sleeps on the floor. End of story. The next morning they wake up and drive straight back to MC.

If anything happened differently in your playthrough it's not the game forcing it, it's you the player. It's you who picked "Yes" when the game asked you "Cheat now? Yes/No" same as it did in all the previous situations. You should have no reason to complain about what you forced to happen, that would be insane.

Even if you're truly convinced this situation is somehow different and worse than the previous ones, you have to be able to notice the coincidence that these complaints happen precisely the first time the game makes full on NTR possible/available. And if you similarly notice complaining across the threads of other similar games whenever they too make NTR available/possible for the first time you should notice the pattern.

You're not getting it because you choose not to. Your mindset is well "I got what I wanted." I know that you prefer NTR, based on your previous posts.
The main issue is the absence of any NTS options in a previously NTS only game and that feeling like the dev sold out to the NTR crowd.
Imagine the opposite, a cheating based game where Kat had free reign. Now all of a sudden Luke was calling all the shots and Kat always asked permission. The original NTR/cheating fans would be annoyed right? Of course.
Many of us accepted that there would likely be a cheating option coming up and assumed that letting Kat go alone with Pat would be that option, while Luke going would be an NTS or Loyal option.
When if anything Kat going alone is the better option as they don't then have the ridiculous argument.

The Pat scene itself wasn't a problem as it's completely optional and many of us saw it coming and I will say that the scene itself, in a vacuum, was pretty hot.
Was there any need for the Franklin scene to also be NTR? No, there wasn't. Kat knows by now that Luke likes seeing her with other guys so the scene with Franklin could definitely have gone in an NTS direction after Nate left.

id have to disagree 100% here because we had a choice in Episode 7 to go with Kat or let her go alone. Where your choice doesn't matter where you always end up with Pat alone to create some NTR situation . The issue never been about the NTR decisions for all 3 NTR scenes cause you can say no to them, which is the only thing that is handled well in the update. But it's how you get there that is very forced despite players picking a decision thinking going with Kat and Pat wouldn't lead to that or a NTS situation.

I would even argue the entire update was forced NTR because there was not 1 NTS scene besides the stream. As it seemed like Bobby went out of his way to not include any NTS when there was some perfect context / scene to include both. Hell even the stream scene felt like it ended prematurely for no real reason. Which is another check mark imo that he went out of his to not include NTS.

I think Kat going to the motel would be less of a big deal if A we never had to make that choice back in Ch 7. B If her leaving to stay with Pat instead running after Luke didn't feel very forced to get us into a situation just so players can have some NTR there should at least been another choice there for players that had Luke go with it. As many were under the assumption this path was going to be the sharing option with Pat or someone else during the dance. C if kat acted in a way that made sense for her character her staying felt out of the blue for most of us just to force us in the situation. ( which is why many calls it forced NTR even if you can say not to the actual sex scene) Which is why some of us consider Luke staying home the cannon route as it feels alot better for her character.

In a vacuum you're correct; both are situations in which the player can select the outcome. The difference in the later situation (to me anyway) was the context leading up to it. While her chatting with Nate and his friend on the park bench and getting overly friendly in 10 minutes could certainly be seen as "exercising some porn story creative liberties", it still felt like a much more organic build up and situation than the latter. Probably not 100% realistic, but isn't that much of a stretch to imagine two similar-aged guys meeting her and flirting with her on a park bench.

Compare that to one's dad asking to go out on a date alone with a girlfriend (teh fuck?) then of course they have to spend the night together. Personal tastes bias both of us I'm sure.... but cmon, if that at all feels like an equally propable real world situation you've been playing too many ntr avns. I have had strangers try and flirt with my girlfriend in public, whereas I can safely say I've never had my dad go on a date with my girlfriend (again, what the fuck?)
