Thats probably true or at least a understandable opinion if one plays it for/on ntr-path.
For a player who is going for loving/consensual sharing it is an absolute garbage scene in my opinion that is very much capable of killing the complete game for a nts-run...

I think anyone here who has followed the development from the beginning, who has actually read the text and not just clicked through, should have been aware of this. Well, I knew about it, even though I'm only here sporadically. And if I knew about it, it couldn't have been a big secret.

Anyone expecting great content in pure love/non-cuckold/cheating... routes is definitely in the wrong game.

Thats your opinion, it was clear to me that it never would be a completly drama free experience, but you could very much play the MC as open and honest about his kink and now she just straight up does the worst betrayel possible, without any sensible build up to it... it's a shit development that makes zero sense for her character if you played it a certain way... it seems written for people that have been on a ntr-trajectory before, there it could make sense, but for the path I have played it is simply bad writing for her to go so off the rails so suddenly...

Disagree in the way you're using it here. "Cuckolding" has never been the focus; we don't see Luke sitting in a corner, nervously jerking off while Kat taunts him and toys with other guys. It definitely has always had a swingerish/hotwife vibe where Luke's trying to get Kath into sexually deviant situations with others.

I'm not saying this to start up another definitions debate - I'm bringing it up because it's important to what you said. Luke wanting to make an exhibitionist of sorts with Kath is way more closely aligned with what would considered a romance route. They go on dates, they talk with each other, there's very little of this "oh I couldnt possibly tell him THAT!" utterances you see in ntr games.

I think you're mistakenly aligning cheating themes with hotwifing themes more closely than romance. The game didn't have a smidge whatsoever of that stuff until the flashback update, and went full throttle on that this last update. Thus, I think his frustrated is warranted. Cheating and hotwife/exhibitionist themes are NOT bedfellows.

But it shouldn't have been a surprise. The dev showed that she was conflicted with doubts right from the start. I don't know if there even is a good wife path. I play this way because nobody really gets hurt (it's just ink), and it allows you to see and experience this type of life. I find it cringeworthy at times, like this last part. But what I see most is the emotions involved, especially the aftermath, after the heat has cooled off. This is epic stuff. If you can't separate the game from reality, then you shouldn't play, and I'm not trying to be mean about it. TBH, I thought about the ending after it was all over, and I was exhausted from struggling with it. But, after a while, I got over it and enjoyed the story. If you can't separate, I understand, and for your own good, don't torture yourself. It's cool. People are different.

Just went through the title to the end of Chapter 8. I was running the pure love, no NTR, no showing off, no encouragement to be bad or exhibitionist, no nothing. Absolutely 100% always chose Kathryn every single time. So, beach scene comes, another glory hole scene and she runs away. Luke comes running and she's so happy he's her hero and she loves that so much. Him protecting her and loving her.

Then they all go dancing. Luke is her hero right. Pat is ALL OVER HER. Non-stop pressure and it rightly pisses Luke off. He confronts Pat and what happens... the girl who just said at the beach that he was her hero is completely oblivious to Pats advances and THEN she tells Luke if he can't be nice to his Dad he should leave.

What the fuck. I mean I guess the author was setting up the plot for the whole rain, motel scene but seriously. You basically murdered this title as far as this love path reader is concerned. Yes Kathryn has been a ding-a-ling in a few cases but this... taking sides against Luke. Her hero. Telling him to leave. Her hero. I'm done. Renders are great, writing is good, no shade on folks who like the other routes but I can't continue. Peace folks.

I think you are lost in some fetish dream. I'm one of the older members here, I've lived in 10 states and 2 other countries and I've never seen a guy's girl go on a date with his father. Especially not a father who is blatantly and persistently coming on to her in a very direct way. We're not talking about some wife cheating with a Dad.
