More like a 19th-century prequel to "Fear and Loathing."

Is it bad that my first reaction to a game that has so many decrying a twisted childhood story is
"Alices dress is the wrong color, and Snow White is too derived from the disney version".

I mean these stories only got "wholesome" in the late 1800s. Well OK, Alice was written sorta "wholesome", but Anderson started Thumbleina pretty twisted - I mean she was always getting chased by critters trying to "make her their bride" against her will. And everyone knows that the Grimm stories are the equivalent to a modern Del Torro movie (or more accurately that a Del Torro movie is a modern continuation of the storytelling used in the Grimm stories).

But my biggest problem with a nubile symbol for innocence lost being abused is "that character has the wrong color dress". There must be something wrong with that.

But my second reaction was "I wonder if they went with the version where Red eats the flesh of her grandma or not". Which isn't really improving my introspection.

This just makes me want to watch the little red ridding hood short with Christina Ricci running around naked from the wolf....

I dunno, man..... what would "Pan's Labyrinth" be a sequel or continuation of? :thinking:

Blanchett is one of many names given to Little Red Riding Hood. It does seem to be one of the more popular. It is perhaps a reference to the Blanchett Rouge (translating roughly to White/Pure Red) which is a varient name for a type of grape used in wine.

But the story is so friggin old and likely based on even older stories that are only partially recognizable that there isn't a good clear answer on what her name it.

ok joke aside, this game is quite entertaining, frustration aside for the puzzle, the way the plot works around is quite intriguing I would say, worth playing till the end.

PS : extra game is hard but good for brainstorming and unlock some extra stuff.

as for gameplay, do not worry much ? it just trial and error and all lead to one ending of each tale. including *** .

guess i was wrong to ignore it for few days and only trying this out out of boredom.

considering how messed up most of fairy tale before disney butcher it i.e the king have its way into sleeping beauty while she was still asleep until she give birth and awoke due to her child try to breastfeed, And the same with snow white. i say this is return to the origin of fairy tale lol
