yeah and we all know that this is cope the Dev wrote into the story after it became clear that every one hated every and all living LI, same with them "searching" for him by sitting at home and crocheting its all cope and damage control to save the game from train wreck of a corner he wrote himself into
also I feel like you guys are forgetting that dark magic or black magic or whatever dev called it could have been used to get into hell. it's not like they couldn't have found a way. honestly let's just say what it is. dev wrote themselves into a corner and had to bs a way out to avoid people calling him out on his subpar writing for this game. I bet someone could write something way better than this in less than a few months considering this game barely gets 1 update a year. dev tried to make the MC a Lucifer archetype but forgot how to actually remain consistent with the plot and now as a result, can't find a way to fix this flaming trash pile they call a game

Plotwise this game did have problems ,the whole split personality thing was one for me ,the whole " charge in to enemy territory without backup or weapons thing and not thinking for a second that this is a trap"

His family tried to get him, couldn't, gave up. Sorry, but that's just insane level of bs for me to consider it valid defense for his family.
"I was just following orders" - Say what now? Wings taken, dropped to literal hell, tortured for thousand years, but hey, all good because you were "just following orders".
I am not very sorry dev dropped the game, since he dropped the ball on it ever since MC left hell, but if the VN ever kept going, my only goal would have been to select all choices that can lead to his family dying.
Fuck that family. Fuck his mom, his sister, bitch that dropped him to hell etc.

The attempt to salvage the family was just some lip service. It all boils down to it's your father's fault we just went with the flow.
According to the setting (which is based on Christian and Islamic theology), Azel (bitch version of Azrael) kept access to hell all this time, I mean half her working hours are spent there. Every Joe and his mom can come and go from hell apparently (demons that know a spell, Nix and her faction), but not the mother and sisters (the top bitch and the archangels, one of which works in hell half the time!!!). For f(%$ sake according to the plot they could have gotten into hell in a number of ways if they actually cared.
It's so bland that it reads more like:
"We half-tried a few times and decided to just let it go, it's more fun to drink wine and touch our coochies"
Damn that's a pretty good synopsis of this VN.

Crazy too how MC figured everything out on his own, including demons that could do X or Y to make things possible for him but in 1000 years an angel couldnt figure out a way to enter hell, Azel couldnt check on him once, or like make allies with demons or whatever to kind of protect the MC, or whatever may have you. Millions of possibilities that could have honestly fit the lore, if we're being real.
But instead lets just pure cope to be like "yeah azel can bully MC as if theyve been best friends for that whole 1000 years, making jabs at him constantly, momma bear can use her sexual deviancy to somehow win the MC over within a couple days, and everyone else is completely welcoming to MC being shattered beyond belief from 1000 years of heinous torture by a DEMON KING nah its cool, lets go to college, and be bros and bang chicks, and hang out with sociopaths daily.
Real talk it had me hooked off the intro, was shaping to be splendid, then after the revisit to hell it took the hardest nosedive I could have imagined. I was not at all prepared for it.

Well I can't say for sure since i have not read the plot to see what exactly the Dev was trying to go the story into being but from what i remembered when i last played it and saw ,i believe that he was fan of the college/harem theme AVN-porn games and he did tried to make something using these tags but it did not go the way he wanted^almost like i said everyone but raph can kick rocks

Honestly, he should have dropped current game, explain thought process in dev post, then start new game.
The way he's done it is just wrong and he was stuck in worst possible position.
Those who like College/Harem VNs probably dropped the VN during first 2 chapters.
Those who liked first 2 chapters liked it for complete opposite of college/harem setting.
Switching from one to another is worst possible decision he could have made.
Plenty devs dropped their first VN, for variety of reasons. Could have done the same, with much less backlash.
Would have suffered short term, but could have gained new audience long term.
when I first played this game, it was due to the idea of being an angel damned to hell and I was hoping once we got out, we would either move to take over Earth or declare war on Heaven. originally I thought that would have been a good plot but dev went and introduced this whole college thing along with MC being a moody little bitch. I thought "ok, maybe we start small by taking over the college". but no, the plot makes no sense at all. this dev fucked their own story up and rather than come here to admit to it, hides and releases an "update" once every 6 or 7 months hoping we are dumb enough to play for forgive them for their trash writing

Well, the problem was not the "update" once every 6 or 7 months but the bad written plot, which i understand since he had no experience before but he could use some of the suggestions people gave him on discord

Sure but that's not exactly how feelings work . Just because someone would follow similar order , does not mean he'd rationalize awful crap being done to him that way , and just get over it .
I mean Azel says "i dropped you to be tortured for eons oopsy my bad , i was told to do so" with glee and a smile , and the MC does not even have a choice to even react badly ? But you can blow a gasket over meaningless demons and characters ? This only works if you write MC as the quintessential "above human feelings and rational" divine creature ... except he only is written that way when "convenient"
