This isn't set nowadays. It's not set in medieval times either. The gods are all ancient Mesopotamian for what that's worth. Maybe let the dev build his world? :)
yeah true TFS is more off a parallel world then a historic one, and whit the segment on fire bombs (molotov's) they say its "ancient" knowledge.
So a argument could be made that the world age is similar they just never industrialised or something like that.

well kinda depends again on where you life.
In my area it seems that they're there but not really pushing a agenda (aside from the one none can critique)
but it could be i just don't interact much so their just underneath my personal radar.
Let just say some times its better being blissfully ignorant. ;)

yeah but their status is kinda iffy. it largely depends on how faithfull(zealous) the population is.

When a king of england(don't remember which one) wanted to divorce his wife, the Pope said NO
Then he just founded the Church of England and got the divorce that way

Nowadays Most religions hold less sway and are less into politics.
King Henry the VIII is the one you are talking about. He wanted to divorce his first wife (who was his older brother's wife). She's the one who gave him Mary.

Anyway, just for fun:
King Henry the Eighth had six wives. Divorce, beheaded, died. Divorce, beheaded, survived.

I wouldn't call HH musical theater.

Anyways some would say he ruined their lives.
The musical 6 has a very similar line sung by the wives themselves, which is what I'm familiar with.

Fan of musical theater?
Don't know it from musical theatre, it's just something I learnt back in the 80s while living in England at the time. Don't ask me their names but I'll never forget the outcome of each wife.

Now why he didn't make the Church of England allow multiple wives, that would have solved a few issues for himself.

Just started this game... too much sex with the same woman again & again '''' hope this will reduce and more adventure .
Already about to give up.
I mean, he doesn't start the game with a ton of options, but the number of different girls he has sex with increases pretty quickly. That said, if you expect that every girl will have some buildup, then a single sex scene with the MC before she vanishes and is never mentioned again? That's not going to happen. Once the MC has claimed a woman, she's his, so there are always further scenes with her possible.

In a world where the male birth rate is like next to none his goal is to breed em all to ensure he does his part.

Did someone mis-explain parents or women in Aetas must have at least two children... someone else said that's if they want contraceptives? Nowadays, if a nation doesn't have average at least 2.1 to 2.3 kids per family birthrate (forgot exact figure) population declines (due to deaths) so there's socioeconomic crisis within generation, but I'd guess in more deadly Mediaeval times (more fatal illness and violence) it'd have needed higher birthrate... so unsure law requiring at least two kids makes sense, especially with curse males are decreasing? Mediaeval families commonly had four to eight kids (don't know includes ones died soon at/after birth) and wasn't uncommon some/all died earlier. It'd make sense for Aetas to require more kids before contraceptives. Doesn't affect enjoying story/game though.
