That's a fair point ... The thing I built is less "harem board" and more "who's important and are they harem or not" starting point. Obviously most girls would end up on the right area with very small images (smaller than the two I put) and the second tier on the left, with most important on top and not-in-harem below the logo. But yea, I should have put those two much higher ... near the top of the letters.

i don't remember your VN ever being leaked so i'm unsure about that

No it never leaked, which I am grateful for. But I didn't understand your question. What do you mean by bugfixed?

Just suggestion but maybe in next game you can make graph with all characters relationships, and how they connect with each others. After just build story around that.

Honestly, I ain't doing that. That the sort of things that sounds good on paper, but realistically, how many time the players are really going to look at it? Once? Twice?

And that's another system I have to create, and then maintain, which add work. And if it breaks, I have to fix it.

My time being limited as a single dev, I rather use it to tell more story.

well on patreon release some people might've a few bugs or typo's , do you update/fix stuff in their 2 week early access and upload a "improved"(bugfixed) version on public release day?

Well, yes, I fix typos/bugs during the two weeks, hence why the versions uploaded here are neraly always followed by a "a" "b" or "c", for minor bugfixing/typos.

Public version is gonna be the most patched version of let's say 0.26 once it releases tho any other fixes I'd say Vanderer does would end up rolling into 0.27.

Yep, that's it. The typos I missed for the public version are corrected in the script and added to the version after that one. After the next update on Patreon/Subscribestar, I will also update part 1 & 2 with the typos that were reported fixed.

I may have been misinterpreting, but I read his comment as "plot your relationships out before you write the story" ... or something like that.

Oh, yes, my bad I must have misread! I tought he wanted a screen with all the relationships in it.

They were planned, mostly. I did add a few because as I was writing the characters, I started to like them too much to not include them.

Well, for the "main" LIs, for the maids for example, Estrid was not really intended to be given to MC, she was more of a bakcground character than she is, but as I was writing her it started to make sense, you know.

All in all, I am happy how TFS turned out.

My next one will have a less extensive cast, LIs or not, due to the setting. So it will have deeper relationships, but again, that's not soon.

Graph for yourself for the game as a template. So you don't loose track of characters and things explode.

Personally I like the massive harem and wouldn't mind adding even more. It was one of the draws for this game. The more the merrier, always room for more I say. That's just my opinion.
I don't disagree with your. However, the main problems of massive harems is it is a ton of work for the dev, and giving each girls some time is very hard to do. Especially if you have a story like TFS, with adventure etc...

Look at TFS, there has not really been much adventuring because of all the character interactions, that takes up time in each update.... so the more girls you need to interact with (talking, sex scenes, drama etc..) the less time you have for the story.

Add in the non-love interest characters... like the daughters etc.. and then even less time for all those girls and adventures.

Now don't get me wrong. The Fiery Scion is one of my favorite games and I look forward to each and every update, and I always play the whole game from the beginning each and every update.

But I would really like to move the story forward some and get some more adventures, like clearing the mine and finding out what is causing all the undead.

so the more girls that get added... the longer it is going to take to clear up that mine :)
