Hello I need help

I started playing part 1, but came across an issue with saving and loading. I get an error message every time I try to save and load. Quick save and quick load work fine as well as all other menu options, but when trying to hard save or load I get the error message. I figured I needed to fix this before I moved to part 2.

By the way Vanderer (or anyone else, I guess) - some of the images in this update seemed a bit...blurry? Mainly the ones dealing with Valorie shortly after her introduction. It's like her face was sort of out of focus.
Was that just me?

Vanderer, yes I am using the mod. I have found a workaround though. I copied the mod folder to another location and deleted it from the game folder. Then booted the game and loaded my quick save and then did a hard save. If I want to use the mod I can just copy and delete it to and from the game folder when I want.

The mod cause a load of bugs, including sometimes disabling the rollback and messing with saves. I heavily recommend not using it.

Well, nobody else had that complaint and I don't see it, so...

Still, it's sad to see... hopefully it doesn't hit you too hard.

Honestly, no idea, we'll see next update. People subscribing just for early access is a decent part of the Vn's income, but I have a lot of players that pay because they want to support the devlopment of the VN. We'll see.

So far i wouldn't be too worried if i were you. This has happened occasionally to Talothral, another dev that is very much present in the community and well appreciated, but it hasn't become regular thing. I think the majority of the community appreciates how you operate here, me included, and are willing to support you in their capacity. So unless it starts to happen regularly, i would keep calm.

Yeah, but this is one of the few games where there's a sort of "unwritten rule" / "gentlemanly code of conduct" thing because the dev's cool, interacts with us a lot, has fast updates, and does a timely public release that it generally doesn't leak, at least not super early.

I know, it's a bit hypocritical for an established filthy pirate such as myself (even though I do support a rotating set of devs), to suggest it, but some games really shouldn't be leaked early. Not going to bash anyone about it, mind you.

I'm perfectly fine with honey select games being released only after (or at least close to) the public release.

Because the devs can't sell the games. The only monetisation they have is subscriptions.

The hope ofc is that platforms such as this one drive subscriptions, but it's a difficult situation

Gonna be honest here: more than 70% of my subscribers learned about my VN because of F95. So, yeah, it did and still does, drive subscribtions, no doubt about that.

i also strongly believe that those who can and want to support will do so even if get leaked,sure their might be a few who don't or stop their sub if the leaking becomes a common occurrence but your core subs will stay.

i've always liked your setup on patreon its a affordable one compared to the average i've seen.(your top tier 1price is the average mid tier price)
