I mean, the existence of a dick-growing spell would also be a major game-changer for Athagan. On the other hand, Maria creating such a spell could be part of the ending to TFS, solving the population crisis, and leading her to go build her own harem of sexy women as the protag of the sequel.

I appreciate the references. I hadn't probed the thread previously, so my impressions were based only on in-game lore and interactions. As a result, I still feel pretty blindsided. Honestly, as a "family friend" that wasn't around MC for a terribly long time, Eleanora seems more attainable than Liliana, whom is literally MC's adoptive mother.
Hell, by both this site and Patreon's definitions, Liliana being with MC would be considered incest, as both specifically include adoptive family. Neither Patreon's, nor F95's definitions of incest would include Eleanora.

yeah you could even add avila to that, tbh i do think how the story develops kinda puts it into a grey zone real fast, as he gets engaged to avila and gets adopted at the same time.
Yeah, honestly if the adoption never happened, Athagan and Liliana would have ended up as MC's in-laws, instead of his adoptive parents, and Avila wouldn't be his adoptive sister, thus no incest with either Avila or Liliana by anyone's definition.
As it stands, Avila is, as you said, in a grey area, and that's probably why the game doesn't currently have the tag, but if MC does eventually end up with Liliana, it'll be really hard to convince the mods to keep the tag off, which would also put Vanderer in hot water with Patreon, as they have taken to banning games just for having the incest tag on this site.
I dont really think lilliana is his adoptive mother though both towards henry and maria she asks them to call her lilliana and not mother or grandmother (especially when maria tries to call her that)

There's also the whole "royalty" aspect of the adoption. Even though he and Athagan treat each other as father and son, it can still be looked at as being adopted by the ruler of the land to be his heir, rather than being adopted by the man to be his son. It's another way to fudge things if he wants to clear things up before any future relationship shenanigans ...

In the in-game world it's not unusual for somebody's dad to have a wife or 3 who is NOT that somebody's mom - bc harems.
All solid points, but in the end, they won't really stand up to scrutiny. F95 mods, and especially Patreon mods, rarely, if ever, make special exceptions based on in-game lore or loopholes. Athagan adopted MC, thus Liliana is, as Athagan's (only) wife, MC's adoptive mother.
Regardless of circumstances, such as the "royalty" aspect, harems, or attitudes, MC and Liliana would be an incestuous couple as per F95's tag rules and Patreon's (insanely broad) ToS.
Incest fans may hate when the tag is applied to "fake-cest", such as step-cest or adopt-cest, but the tag is still always applied in those situations.
As for the "bc harems" part, I'm pretty sure that children of harems consider all of the sister-wives to be their mothers, regardless of who birthed them.

i dont like the idea of Maria being a mc mainly because it would be feel wrong knowing her as the young kid she is and the job as her farther to protect her and rise her i would much more prefer her older years to be left private same as i would not like a 2nd game in the future were the current mc is still the mc and has outlived most of his girls
I would more likely add a third one and say "Invulnerable = can't be wounded and therefore not killed" and "Unkillable = Can't be killed but can be wounded"
Another thing: Some renders seem to be of really low resolution, for example this one as her face appears especially blocky for some reason and there are compression artifacts everywhere:
