Marry. Athagan could maybe hire Henri like Her Maj did or something tho. Athagan might not even be unwilling. Humanity needs the babies, and it'd make his wife happy and it's not something in his power to do. :shrug:
Honestly, I am surprised something like this has not happened yet. Liliana seems the type to need/want (not to mention the religious aspect) physical relations. Now Athagan could obviously still give her pleasure, but missing his man bits would lower his libido a lot, and he can't give her more children. Personally, I hope this is the way they go as I have grown to like Athagan.
Can anyone tell me what the curse is? Is it simply that Humanity is at war, and needs more people to fee to the war machine?
I'm guessing Athagan will die and i'm wondering if the mine he said he was forced to retreat from back in part 1 will have a part to play in his demise

The curse is that most (and more and more with time) of the births are girls.
How far are we to part 3 being complete? I played part 1-2 and will play part 3 when it is done so i can enjoy all the content without waiting lol. Fun game i enjoy it.
Not so sure that’s a curse!
Was this explained in the story some were?

The demons did it. Because they need souls. I'm unclear how shoving a stick in the proverbial spokes of human reproduction will GET them any souls, but I'm sure they have a plan.Not so sure that’s a curse! View attachment 5149541

And yes, it's part of the discussion the party has early on sitting around in the Glenval manor. Like their second mission I think? when they get Kes' bow and Karla's steel.

considering its being split in parts to keep download size's below(around) 5GB and we're currently at ~3.3GB it will be a while before that,unless the next few updates are chunky boy's
If the female soul was better in some way, it would make sense. Another would be that with so few men woman would have to do the fighting making it easier for the demons while not reducing the number of soul available, possibly even increasing the numbers.
Hopefully time will tell.
While souls are important, big benefit is actually being able to conquer a plane/dimension. If the demons and devils have anything like the blood war in D&D, then the whole war is about which side of evil, chaos or law, is stronger and should lead evil against rest of the existence. And being able to show that you own more than just your own plane would be big thing in it.
The curse flat out decreases population giving the plane less to fight against them with and making corrupting individuals especially men more effective. Since it is demonic in origin I could easily believe that they would have a way of removing it after they concur everything giving them a more stable soul supply from their human slaves.

devil are native of this plane, but demon aren't. they have conqured and exterminate everyone in their original plane of existence and now they are hunting for souls here. they don't care about sustainability because they can always invade another plane after exterminate all life in their current target.

Interesting story line. Kes is clearly a hot tease, playing the shy girl, despite any scars she may/may not be hiding. MC has the loot to have her healed, even if it is just cosmetics... Kes needs to be in the harem.
And one more. Clearly the offspring of Mary Poppins and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, Serena the cleric needs to be instructed by the Herold to be MC's woman. How to accomplish this... perhaps MC gains some honorary title/role, a move to rebuild those recently lost in the church? Serena may be "his", but much remain in her role. Whatever excuse, she needs to be in the harem, too cute in her would be clergy outfit. She has vows - the Herald / gods need to want this to happen...

Main loot would not just be money but (destroying) the magic sword (mentioned months ago or last year or two) that gave her the scars (impossible otherwise). If that happened I'd rather not have spoilers, but today is official release date (despite leak a week or two earlier) so I'm going to play.
