You are generally right about Henri. He can be, on occasion, an arrogant prick. But nearly all the time, it's with people who are assholes to him or those he care about.

And generally, I think you paint a picture of him that's a little bit harsh. Sure, he has his faults, but he has some very good qualities too. Especially in a world like that. He's protective, he's generally just, he treat everyone, even commoners, with respect as long as they do the same to him. He's generous with his gold, too. He genuinely respects the right of the people, too ,and do not abuse his position. He's also pretty much incorruptible.

He also kill bad guys. Lots of them. Which there are a lot.

But yeah, he still needs to learn some, especially socially.



The guy can incinerate you with a flick of his wrist. People are wary. And generally, the common people like him more than they fear him. Because he bring a sense of safety into their life.

When you have bands of orcs attacking your town regularly, having a guy who's going to incinerate them by the dozen, or cast a ward protecting you from their arrows, go a long way towards good will.

And I can't really say that he has temper tantrums, really. Sure, sometimes he gets overly angry, but never for no reason, at least IMHO. Of course, death of the author and all that.

And, like you said, a lot of his women idolize him right now. But then, they are still in the honeymoon phase of their relationship right now, it will change a little in the future. A lot of them are just happy to have a guy who not only has excellent genes, but also treat them well compared to the average, and will protect them no matter what.



Yeah, in Honey Select, the selection of male hair is very poor. On the discord server I presented a few options, and everyone was saying that the one I selected was the...I wouldn't say the best, but the least worse choice.

They are a couple that are decent, but they are more the "pretty boy" type of haircut, and they do not go well on the MC.




Yep. But they have limited choice. A guy like the MC can change the course of a whole battle by himself, he's too much of an asset. And his case his rare, the average time in the tower for a age is perhaps a couple years, not 12 or 13 years.

Besides, go tell him that he can't go out and do what he want to do after all that time, when it's his right to do so.

Sariel is starting to understand him. He's not the type of person that you can constrain, just canalize towards a productive goal. Her decision in the latest update is also a way for her to try to make him grow up a little, socially. And learn that not every problem can be resolved with a fireball. Admittedly, a lot of them can, but still...



Like said above, he does respect the skills of other people. Karla for enchanting, Persus for teleportation, Asambe when it comes to weapons or Naesala for horses. He respects knowledge in all its forms, something that Athagan always insisted on.

One thing he has a hard time is when morality is in question. He's a very righteous man, to a fault sometimes, and he doesn't get that not everyone is strong enough to always make the right choice. Because for him, if something is evil, you fight it! When for the common people...it's not that easy. That can make him look down on weaker people.

I love your game and I appreciate such a well thought out response as the one you gave. If I can add my two cents I just hope you don't go too hard on the future relationship drama.
It's kind of nice to sit back and read a nice fantasy story and not have everything be realistic because again its fantasy.
I don't think women born in the situation or world you have crafted would even have the same expectations of lets say real world modern women.
IMO a bit of jealous competition between some of the ladies might be fun so long as its comical/sexy and no one becomes actual enemies lol.

I'll play the update this evening. I just hope there is still at least one choice in each part just so the forum doesn't reclassify it as a kinetic novel, and it's more interesting that way. Despite whether one tried to save Naesala first or attack the villain first, she loved the character anyway, at least it was like the character could be a certain way (good or bad guy route) chosen by the player. That's part of what hooked me on the game; if it originally wasn't--kind of like the recent updates--I wouldn't likely have played. Now I still will because the writing, art/scenes are good.

Skip unseen doesn't seem to work for me despite having it enabled. I've got Riam's mod installed as well if that makes any difference. Skip button does work however if I start a new game. Anyone encounter a similar bug?
