For some strange reason (and I have no idea why it is happening), but I got a lot of errors all of the sudden in Haven. It happens when I am encountering events in empty rooms;



while I am eavesdropping;



In some sex events and while talking to people;



Anyone knows what causes this?

Also, this will appear, when you are harassed and/or having sex/raped on the bus or in alley. If you know what I mean.



I am pretty sure that I not have been drinking for awhile. Or should it be like this? Perhaps a parameter for being sober or wasted drunk? (bottle getting filled up?)

PS: Just end up with Baby Crazy, but I have no idea how I got there. Is that after you have a lot of sex with some patrons from the bar and/or the soccer boys?

I'm not sure of the exact conditions but you have to refuse any pullouts during vanilla sex. After a certain point, Sammy will automatically ask for the guy to finish in her; that's when you'll have the Baby Crazy perk. Source: Almost exclusively play the Broodmother start.

Oh. It seems that after awhile the "Baby Crazy state" disappeared (for the moment perhaps?) from my stats. Normal? I also have not started as "Broodmother origin", but as "Gym Bunny origin"

I didn't even know you could obtain Bimbo by not going to school enough...but I try to work my fitness and intellect pretty hard during the first two weeks because of the new game bonus multiplier, I usually have 50 of both by the end of the first two weeks. Uh, different play styles and all that, I guess.

Same here, it's never been a problem for me either. Between classes and the library upstairs i'm generally zooming past 30 within two school days, and after spending most of the initial weekend jogging i've unlocked the cafe job by Sunday evening (for those curious, the requirement is the same as Sammy's belly disappearing).

Always figured the ones running into Bimbo were just focusing their Sammies on triggering events.

You get Baby Crazy by taking multiple creampies during ovulation. Taking a lot of creampies otherwise can get you the creampie lover trait.

Most traits like that can fall off unless you have the origin that enforces it. Usually just something that takes time without fulfilling it's criteria.

Edit: The "Alison's Deal" and "Making a Glory Hole" is still in the works, right? That is because if you talk to Dez about how to make a hole it will then bring you back to the Main Menu.

Making a Glory Hole has been in for a while. it should work. however if you are playing the patreon build maybe its broken at the moment.

Is there a way to see if your version is a Patreon or a Public build. That is because I'm pretty sure that I am using the latest build (v0.3.1.21) that I have downloaded from here. Or is that a Patreon build as well?

I've got the same problem with haven...

Some older saves have issues when entering Haven in newer builds. Need to either enter Haven in the old save before updating or start a new game.

Frozen lake is something I planned for initially but not sure if that will ever make it in. We will see.

Making a Glory Hole has been in for a while. it should work. however if you are playing the patreon build maybe its broken at the moment.

Should work fine. Haven't tested it recently but also haven't made any changes to it.

Is there a way to see if your version is a Patreon or a Public build. That is because I'm pretty sure that I am using the latest build (v0.3.1.21) that I have downloaded from here. Or is that a Patreon build as well?

Open the cheats menu and press toggle debug. It will show what version your save was started and what the current version of the game is. 3.1.50 is the latest.

Neat.
Can you gain/regain the perk by not wearing underwear for long enough?
I've only ever had it from chargen, never gained in ingame.

Oh oh. That is weird. It seems that I once started up the game again with a save from version 3.00!!! And then kept on saving. I must have deleted the newer version saves by accident. Oops. That must be the reason why Haven, Glory hole and Alison's Deal are acting up. I will now delete every saves to start all over again.

Two more questions, if i may:

Commando perk changed. Can now wear and buy all underwear. Random events will trigger on rare occasions with Sammy complaining about wearing underwear if they are not thong/slutty tagged. Wearing underwear for long enough without these tags will lose the perk

So for the purposes of gaining the Commando perk, would Sammy have to wear NO underwear or would it also trigger on thongs, since the game would consider thongs Commando enough for Commando?

Speaking of -- and i apologize if i'm simply missing it -- would the season affect what Sammy would feel comfortable wearing? Because when hearing 'frozen lake' i can't help but picture Sammy skating on the ice in a bikini.

I know DoL handles this by assigning a 'warmth' score to each piece of clothing and if it's too far away from the outside temperature warmth number then they'll either feel too cold or too hot which would affect mood and such, but considering the clothing system has been simplified before...

Trying to actually be constructive, the formula i suppose would look like:

mood_max=10-(abs(currentwarmth-clotheswarmth))

Which, if i'm not making a fool of myself, would give a mood bonus if you've got it more or less right, a mood penalty if you're wearing sweaters in the middle of summer or naked when it's snowing, and indoor rooms would be set to currentwarmth=clotheswarmth because they have heaters and ACs. It's essentially meant to work as a variable modifier based on how comfortable Sammy feels, so there may be some interplay with Commando Sammy wearing underwear here.

It's how it currently works. The game checks every 3 hours if Sammy has underwear on, and if it returns true 25 out of 30 checks, she gains the commando perk. For the purpose of gaining the perk and losing the perk, thongs and slutty wear still count as underwear.

This is one of those things that sounds good on paper, but ends up with constant complaints in practice. Warmth like in DoL just means you can't wear what you like seeing Sammy wear so ends up becoming an annoyance. And being it's a porn game, I think it's fair to assume most players want Sammy to wear as little as possible. So putting in cold weather effects that forces the player to cover Sammy up just ends up with people nagging me to add toggles to turn it off.

True enough, and i can't say i didn't expect that to be the answer. Guess i just lean more into the 'life sim' parts of the game.

For DoL, finding different clothing outfits I like and having opportunity to use them is a good thing, not bad - it would only be bad if there were a particular situation where I find that I don't like any of the options given to me, but that'd be more of an issue of my own tastes and maybe not having enough options currently implemented. But the seasons move by so slowly in DoL and the warmth mechanic currently feels a bit under-implemented, and I think that's kind of reflected in basically nobody ever having even mentioned the mechanic in the entire history of the DoL thread here on F95. There's endless complaining regarding just about everything, but I've never heard a word on warmth. I have to actually do a search of the thread to uncover anything regarding it, and it's still minimal.

Not that I'm necessarily advocating for such a mechanic for The Fixer. Just think a cute outfit will soundly beat out nudity any day and having a large variety of outfits of different styles that you find cute is the ideal. Luckily, The Fixer isn't by any means doing too shabbily in that regard as it is.

Yeah. I wonder as well if there is a right balance between wearing the right clothes for the winter and walking around in a bikini at the lake while it is freezing or snowing.

Will there be a possibility that Sam can also swim in the lake to gain constitution AND perhaps even encounter perverts (who are trying to pull down her bikini, grope her or in any other perverted situations, etc) or even the bullies, Nate, Drake or any NPC's. If you know what I mean.

You must level up your intel before about 14-15 days, at least 30 intel in this version. (you can level it either in class or in the library on the 2nd floor), if you choose to start as a girl, you can also choose "nerd" to go faster

Damn, that game found its way even into this comment section. I remember that pretty much there was a meta to play that game "optimally" and was being a tomboy and never wearing anything remotely provocative, unlike The Fixer which is way more forgiving. DoL is a great game, incredibly complex, and better than 99% of other HTML projects imo, but despite having graphic feedback, which is great, it also lacks in that department. But, then again, I can't complain too much, because as far as sandbox games are concerned, DoL is the Dwarf Fortress of lewd games, and also has a clothing system.
Yes, papa likes clothing systems a little bit too much, RIP Illusion, I thankfully still have my Honey Select files well kept on an external hard drive.
