I think my issue there is that if the moderator knows so little about the game that they can't work out what's an actually-stable build and what isn't, then they probably shouldn't be handling the updates. Otherwise, who's to say the update is genuine? I don't even mean with regards to anything malicious like viruses, but like, who's to say someone doesn't go weird and "leak" their own modified version of a game that writes out a character they hate, or that dumbs down the story to make the dev look worse? While I'm not pleased with how the moderators handle this issue, the moderators just update the post with the latest versions that users give them. Those users could just...stop doing that. Not to mention, there are a bazillion different threads for games here, they may not necessarily have the time or ability to quickly figure out whether or not a new build given to them is a "stable" or "unstable" build, especially if they're given those new versions with no context. Maybe it'd help if the version numbers were appended with a literal signifier, e.g. "0.3.3.21-unstable".

It would appear that you have fundamentally misunderstood the arguments put forth.Stable builds of indie games, as well as games from major developers, have never been, and probably never will be, completely free of bugs.
The fight against piracy on a pirate forum looks at least strange.
No offense.
Therefore, we are still very much looking forward to any builds, and it does not matter if they are stable or not.
TLDR, expect the public release sometime this month.I fell off the loop for a while, has any massive update been announced recently?
The issue isn't that the patreon releases are being shared, it's that they remove the stable release and many people show up complaining about bugs and issues in the version in the first post. If the mods posted 2 sets of links (which has been done in multiple threads), so you'd have "current stable release" and then "Current test version".Stable builds of indie games, as well as games from major developers, have never been, and probably never will be, completely free of bugs.

AFAIK you need to turn on "Danger Days" in the cheat menu.Is there still some random rapist attaks in the streets? I know there were quite common in the old version, but I do not find them anymore, even when walking around completely naked

and even with the "Danger Days" enabled in cheat menu "Danger" content still has a grace window on new game (either it slowly ramps up RNG rolls after X days, or it is a hard toggle on Day X+ i don't remember)AFAIK you need to turn on "Danger Days" in the cheat menu.
Newer builds (v27+) have a second Danger setting that turns off the ramp-up. Flipping both the Danger switches gives an unfiltered world from day one, if so desired.and even with the "Danger Days" enabled in cheat menu "Danger" content still has a grace window on new game (either it slowly ramps up RNG rolls after X days, or it is a hard toggle on Day X+ i don't remember)
