Broodmother - is it part of fetish or can we do something with them? Or get money? Or do we "discard" them in the unknown?
IIRC it's explained in one of the academy lessons that babies are taken into some kind of government program if they're born to a mother who's not in a stable relationship. So yeah, they're just gone and Sammy gets nothing.

What are the benefits of some starting traits? As far as I know, traits can open some choices or boost skills - but not all of them look "useful".
  • Bambi & Meek look like our hard difficulty - scared to refuse and submissive. Are there something else about those traits?
  • Broodmother - is it part of fetish or can we do something with them? Or get money? Or do we "discard" them in the unknown?
  • Wildcard - ok, what is it really? I mean, as a player I can generate chaotical choices. Is it some % chance to automatically choose something, or ignore all traits and do something opposite/unexpected/risky?
Is it possible to get / lose them later? Specifically Gamine, Bambi or Meek. I did testing with cheats, seems that chosen trait can not be discarded.

Is impregnation chance based on some flat number or "partner" numbers?
During cheat-testing, I suspected number of partners has no influence on that.
I think, it rolls once, 6-7 hours after unprotected sex ~ which rise another question: I'm assuming the pill has a 100% chance in the first hour, but how much does that % drop? I have suspicion effect doesn't stack.
Long story short, people want different things from the game. Some want a full on porn experience from day one, others want a longer corruption type of game. There are quite a lot of different things people want from the game and the origins petty much allow you to cater the early part of the game to what you want.

None of them are meant to be balanced, it's all about tailoring the game to your wants.

Yes, wildcard is just chaotic. You will act out of character and do weird things. It's kind of a silly mode perk.

Impregnation is a little complicated. But simply put during specific actions (penetration, cumming) a die is rolled against fertility. Creampie while ovulating will obviously have the highest chance but it's possible to get pregnant from a guy pulling out while you are not ovulating. But pretty much every action that leads to a penis/cum being in that general area has a preg dice roll.

"Bambi & Meek look like our hard difficulty - scared to refuse and submissive. Are there something else about those traits?". You answered your own question. Being "scared to refuse and submissive" is the point.

Its more curiosity if all those traits are used somehow in any checks. I saw few comments about some quests that may require one trait or another - was slightly confused how some of those could be used (or gain). Thanks for your answer.

One more question: I clicked some npc-time-skip or whatever == some return pregnant and etc. But is there a way to unlock their statistic?

I know, game is in-development, bold move... but if I am allowed to suggest to add something to the game - there are few things:
  1. Teleport cheat, at least to home/room || Quests unlocked in cheat-menu can teleport us, but if we didn't unlock bus on the location - it is harder to leave location. I know, cheat-related bugs are not critical, just telling.
  2. Cheat: unlock npc-statistics.
  3. Add scrollbar to traits? It is hard to get enough traits to fill it, yet I suspect with addiction, few slut-traits, pregnancy, stains and few more traits we wouldn't be able to see new traits/conditions.
  4. I may be blind, but is there some hygiene on ui? Not sure if its critical - but some vague description would be nice.

Why does this guy have my avatar? Am I hallucinating?
Close to hallucination. But it is mostly luck & google algorithm; I search one picture, but it dropped me that image from newground.
Well, I suspect it is a time to return to old Iron Tarkus portrait, or find another...

Well, as long as you didn't just take it straight from my profile, I suppose that's fair enough: I certainly can't claim either ownership or monopoly over it.

Except you simply do not know what to do in any of it, outside of the main quest line. It makes it very confusing when trying to do other things in it. Randomly trying to figure it out, as easily skipped, often as stuff cancels out other stuff, or what exactly is the criteria on it. There simply isn't enough detail provided. A poor excuse is blaming what kind of kinks any individual wants, or suggesting it's a case of exploration. It's lacking in some core features. Where most games make descriptions and offer explanations, outside of painstakingly searching a forum for it.

I like the game, I've attempted it, but it simply isn't streamlined.

Not being streamlined is sort of the point though. This is a life sim/sandbox, where you are supposed to just wander around and discover stuff. Preferably over multiple playthroughs. Not a checklist of quests you tick off one by one. Other than the mainline quests for The Institute, that is, but it takes some effort to miss those; You are explicitly told to check in with your contact there whenever those move forward.

The good news for those wanting a checklist, though, is that an official guide is in the early stages of production. No ETA, but once it is ready unwanted exploration should be a thing of the past.

No. It's a poor excuse on how to do stuff. Stuff as easily missed. In every other example of that kind of malarkey, "real life sim", aimlessly wandering about the wastelands, it's still a game, a game like every other that there are descriptions, appendixes, and instructions. Except this one. It wants you logging into somewhere else to find out how to do it. Tediously.

Isn't the whole point of the prologue to point it out that you, the MC, had been in a coma for at least half of a year, waking up in a different city, not to mention in a very whole different body?
Of course you're going to wander aimlessly. You don't know anything about the place you're in, how to feel/react to your new body, or what to do/where to go from this point on.
Not to mention, the only one you can "rely" on, your sister, disappears after a week or so.

You may be able to go to "college", or you may go to work yourself to gain some money-whatever it is, you choose what to do and what to follow.

You also have some kind of "notepad" that gives you information on almost all you need: about yourself, your stats/perks, about the people you've met, and the "quests" you're taking/doing.

If even with that it's not enough to figure out what're you supposed to do... What can I say.

Fine, if that is how you want to play it, then that is how we will play it.

No. This is a you problem, not a game problem. Everything in the game can be easily found by just wandering about, talking to people, trying stuff. Not necessarily on the first attempt, but that is a feature, not a bug: Failing a quest the first time around is often more interesting than instant success. And when some things happen in the world independent of player input, some failure is to be expected.

I know this because I have done this. And it was not difficult, frustrating or any other thing like that. All it took was paying a minimal amount of attention, a willingness to experiment, and a capacity for enjoying the journey of discovery.

And if that is not to your liking, that is perfectly fine. We do not all have to enjoy the same things.

–––

That being said, there is always room for improvement. As with everything. So by all means suggest concrete and specific things to be improved. But if you expect the game to be changed from the ground up in some vague and sweeping way, then disappointment is virtually guaranteed.

Is their a way to turn off all Pregnancy content, not just for the MC but for Robin and other side characters as well? Robin will inevitably pop up Pregnant and they I have to restart the game each time to avoid it...can I just shut it off once and for all?

I may be wrong, James8585 pointed one problem - lack of information. I can't talk about quests (yet); I did my cheat-test trying to comprehend starting traits (and later few mechanics). Just a little bit more details would be nice.

I think - no? At least I would not expect such option. As far as I know, cheats have limits and if there is no mechanical protection for such npc - game does what it must.
If It is about esthetic - She will not be pregnant for an eternity (plus, look at the version - its too early for finished or polished mechanics, or a story/plot).

You have a quest still. The main Quest. Only when it comes to doing the other quests there is no description. I know, let's logged into F95 to find out how to do stuff, because the game doesn't assist me? Planet Malarkey.

I wanted to play the newest version with my save game from quiet some time ago (june 2024, so from an old version) and now my char always gets completely naked insted of changing to her outfit when I start the dance class and they go to a new gig/job. Anyone knows why this happens?

Is this from 0.3.3.04, the previous public/stable? Someone reported a similar issue with a save from that version over at Discord a couple of days ago. Hopefully it is something Sam can fix.

Meanwhile, that particular problem reportedly does not come up in saves started on the new public version (0.3.4.01), so the option is there to start a fresh game while waiting for a bugfix.

The Save must be from version 0.3.2.39 and now I used 0.3.4.0. I will try 0.3.4.01 once to see if this changes anything.

/e I realised the same problem happens when the char auto changed into everyday closes when going outside with just underware.

Version 0.3.4.01 has the same problem. I uploaded my save in case this helps in any way

That is unfortunately not very promising, as it is an old test version. Since those are intended for testing, not playing, little or no effort is made to preserve save game compatibility between versions.

Still, if it is the same issue as with the change from 0.3.3.04 to present, there is a chance that any fix will work for you as well. And Sam does come by here fairly regularly, and may decide to take a look anyway. It does not hurt to have more data available when chasing down bugs.

I can confirm. My save is from 0.3.3.04 and I have the same problem.
