not to everyone's Laws more like it. Big Bro is watching.
I'm gonna assume those legislators don't know the difference between Real and Fictional.

The Former is bad because its taking advantage of something living and breathing. That doesn't know any better. The latter is okay because its not real, it doesn't exist. No one is hurt in the process. Its a line of code on a computer, or words on a page. No one is actually harmed during the process in making it.

Its like making action movies illegal because people die in it, and that would be murder. :Kappa:

I think they know, but don't care since it's about micro-level management control.

True. There are several such double standards in life. The government or companies cherry pick and dictate which are acceptable and which arnt.

I hope Sam is open minded for bestiality. I know it's not everyone's taste and I wouldn't mind if it was unlockable via an additional patch or selecting it in an option menu, so others that don't like it can avoid it. Please Dev. The game is already great, a B Patch would make it stellar.

The question is not whether or not Sam is "open minded for bestiality".
The question is whether or not Sam is "open minded" to being banned on Patreon.

And anyone who thinks the answer to that question is anything other than "Hell no!" (or words to similar effect) is going to get a mighty surprise.

Agreed. Toggles shouldn't be necessary though. I kept my virginity for many days/weeks rather easily by making choices in play, and also wrecked my char by making different choices. Totally do-able :)

PM me pleeeeese, need to know more about this for my project.
these 2 game devs get away with it without doing anything to protect themselfes on patreon:

mity from four elements trainer is on patreon and gets away with it: https://f95zone.to/threads/four-elements-trainer-v1-1-6b-mity.730/

dystopian project from claires quest too https://f95zone.to/threads/claires-quest-v0-28-3c-dystopian-project.614/

and propably a few more that i dont remember but these 2 are pretty big and pretty old, how they do this? idk they dont really hide this content

other then that there are 2 ways you can handle this depending on your situation,

if you live in a country where distributing fictional bestiality is illagal (thats how most countries treat this btw its not illegal to own it usually) then you can set up a discord server for your game make a mods channel where people can share modifications to your game and you just share the bestiality content thereon an alt account

if you live in a country where it isnt illegal to share such content you can just set up a web site for your game like E-made+ from mad island did to share the bestiality content as a DLC and on patreon you only just share the base game. https://f95zone.to/threads/mad-island-v0-4-5-2-beta-e-made.209671/ e-made+ didnt do this for bestiality but for other questionable content that isnt allowed on steam

but dont take my word, look at your local countries laws and try to learn from other developers allready on the market

Easy: No one reports them to Patreon. They don't seem to regularly patrol everyone's creations on their own.

Steam might not care about this, but Patreon does. There are several instances where Patreon got wind of non-compliant content off-site by the same creator and forced the creators to take that down. E.g. I know of one creator, who posted regular erotic stories on Patreon, but provided incest stories under the same name for free over on Scribblehub, and they had to take down all their incest stories or be banned from Patreon.
So yeah, you can't create off-site mods with non-compliant content for your game, have to let "somebody" else do that.

I think the only reason why The Fixer gets away with its non-con content is because the switch can be misinterpreted as relating to pregnancy and you have to play for two weeks to get the full non-con content after enabling it. That, and it's likely nobody reported it yet.
