The other thing about NLTs patreon dip can be equated to the world's economics.

Peak ToN was lockdown for many of us. Many counties paid people to stay at home and not go out. People got bored and ventured onto these types of games to keep up entertained.

We have since moved on and gone back to normality. And the world is now in a recession. With many people cutting back on spending. One of the first things to go for a lot of people would be patreon, twitch subs etc etc.

So I don't think too much about a loss in patrons.

If NLTs patreon support continues to dip during the early part of SoTS development. Than it could be a sign that the community is bored of the content. But I doubt that will happen

I know it's all subjective but I'm sorry, I can't even agree on that. To these eyes, even if completely based on looks alone, Melissa is leagues ahead of Alia, who doesn't just behaves like an annoying idiot, but actually looks like an ugly idiot.

They've been there for around six years. They are surviving quite well. I have read the comics, and I would be happy if that was the sort of thing that they did. But I live in the world of "what is", not "what I want to be."

Creators of art like to change over time. Listening to the interviews of NLT, he sounds incredibly passionate and he sounds like hes is really enjoying his work. Its fine for you to not like his new content. You still have his old content to enjoy.


You need to accept that and move on. Theres no need to waste your energy being angry about it.

Proper BDSM is an act that both parties give consent to with a safe word being established. Many people find pain pleasurable during sex. Spanking and hair pulling, Choking, biting and scratching being the easy examples.

Additionally it made absolutely no sense whatsoever for the MC to suddenly start behaving like that, with no intermediate steps towards such behaviour, to all of the girls/women he had become intimate with and had always treated gently and respectively beforehand.

Obviously you have led a sheltered life and are not speaking from experience since much of what you wrote was irrelevant in respect to the booty calls. For instance: You mention "consent" and "safe words". Where did any of the female characters in the booty calls consent to be mistreated anywhere in the game? When did they reveal the "safe words" they were going to use to cease participating masochistically to the MC any time in the game? I saw no evidence of the "normal" BDSM etiquette you mention in any of the booty calls only female character suffering extreme sexual violence.

The BDSM booty calls were ugly, completely out of place, and the MC instantly and incongruously abusive.

That's my opinion, stated from the heart, and if you or anybody else reading these words don't like it too bad. I have never ill treated a girl of woman nor suffered to stand by while a girl of woman was in danger of being ill treated in my presence, nor fantasised about it, been turned on by it, in real life or elsewhere, and feel sorry for those that are.

I'm not a huge BDSM fan either, but I'm into far, far worse things being done to women in fantasy than any of that. We got way bigger issues out here than thirsty chicks in sex dungeons begging for some heinous shit. It would surprise you that some of most violent, "mysoginistic", and cruel sex acts you could possibly imagine are, at the extremes primarily, somewhat more common among women than among men - even and especially those acts being done upon the very same fantasizer.

That being said, it depends on the type and severity of the act. Some extremes favor men, some extremes favor women, but by and large, if it's being done to a woman, it's at least a little more likely that a woman is the one fantasizing about it (and even fantasizing about it being done to her).
