It's a pleasure seeing the growth of NLT throughout the entire series, since Lust Epidemic, improved storytelling, dialogues, puzzles, and the quality of the scenes.
As probably most of folks here, I'm leaning towards ToN as the gold standard, thus casting a huge shadow on TGO on almost every aspect except the improved quality of life changes and the rendering overall.
About the protagonist, I felt the same way as with Brad on LE, it dips too much on the lustful side it becomes creepy or as having a bipolar disorder (perhaps its the intent of the author, but that just how I feel).
While the currency acquisition in the ToN had a steeper curve, specially at the end for grinders, albeit with no "special bonus" at the end, TGO flattens it out too much IMO.
One thing I hoped to be improved by now was the voice acting, maybe not in every scene (since TGO doesn't cut corners in this aspect), but at least on the most important ones, I bet it would improved imersion by a ton.
Regarding, the girls, I felt ToN delivered it in a much better pace and tone, slowly presenting characters, gaining their trust, each with a very distinct personality, story, and way to present herself, while TGO cranks it up to the point it almost reach the other brainless horny games out there.
I think NLT has made something special, the story as a LOT of potential, and the lore could easily reach outside of the game, so let's not forget to buy the game at some point as a token of respect. Peace.
