By definition, installing a "patch" means you are NOT playing "as the creators intended" as, if the "creators" didn't intend you to play what they released, (obviously) they wouldn't have released it!
Moreover, if they had intended you to play the version you seem to want with "a patch", they would have released that version.
So please, stop trying to pretend that the (per)version you want is what the authors "really" wanted.
It's not. Live with it.
Not talking about NLT specifically, but there are a lot of games where you’re meant to use the incest patch. Like the ones where the MC lives in a single-family house with his suspiciously maternal “landlady” who’s always twenty years older than him, and comes to wake him up in bed and cooks him breakfast, etc.

HI everyone , I am new to these games, can anyone help me with scene player, I have installed all the cheats and mod. But I can only play videos in first row. How to unlock and play all the scene. I have also loaded a latest save. I can see all the scene been listed but when I hit play nothing happens. While in TON I can play all scenes.

Its looks like there is problem with mod. NLT games are usually problem with it.

Yeah, than why i ToN thread was almost every day some issue with it.
NLT mods are functional only when game is complete and mod is release after that.
I have any experience with TGO mod, but few with his older games and there are everytime some problems.
What’s wrong with that?
You do know this is referring to the Temple puzzles- in TON there were around 50 of them.

Best to make a backup of the www folder in your game's folder so you can recover the last working version of your game if the update goes tits up! Everybody really should do this before changing a working game radically. Fair warning. Here's the first "Bonus" chapter:
