This ship has sailed a long time ago. NLT already knows all the ins and outs of RPGM, he gains nothing by switching to a different engine this late in his carrer. New engine means different tools, different workflow, etc... He will not put his entire team to learn how to work with a new engine from scratch when RPGM already gives him all the tools he needs to make the games like he wants to.

This one sucks indeed. I blame cellphones, because I think he wants his games to still be light enough to get an unofficial Android port and 1080p videos could compromise that. Like it or not, a lot of people still play his games on cellphones. Its the only explanation I can think of, but I'm not excusing his decision, I don't like 720p at all.

and muddled relationships that leave the door open for... cough... "modders" to adjust the dialogue to more familial settings

Guy knows his audience, he build his carrer on incest pandering, theres no reason to stop now.

As for the rest, I never expected any radical changes in the way his games are played. NLT has found his own winning formula to make a successful porn game while keeping updates frequently and consistent. Why adopt a whole new formula that could lead to changes in his update schedule or worse, not be well received by his supporters? Better stick to what you already knows it works and just build on top of it (a.k.a new weather system, side-quests, etc...).

The big let-down for me is that all the women look like they are almost the same age - upper 30s (except Hannah). Chloe is the worst in this regard - she looks like a middle aged housewife trying some schoolgirl cosplay to save her failing marriage
Oh, and MC also looks like he's past 40 - toupe and all (You can't convince me that hair is supposed to be real)

There won't be too much need for picture walkthroughs here... as it seems TGO pics up on nowadays trend where we interrupt the movie scenes with some button smashing style... so even if you take a nap while you play you can always hit up the scene player where it tells you whats up... if you can't read that is

Good voice acting in porn games is not that rare actually. Bordeaux Black, Pixie Willow, Samantha Flowers, theres a lot of great porn voice actresses out there. Hell, for all the shit we give Subverse that game has top notch voice acting.

The issue here is that good voice actors know that they are good and because of that they charge A LOT more to voice each line compared to the low-quality ones. NLT probably doesn't have the necessary financiais to get the high-profile voice actors in his games yet, so we will have to settle with the low-quality ones. At least for now...
