First time playing and I run into a bug when I meet Hannah for the first time. After the cut scene she goes upstairs and the game freezes. I can't move, can't open the menu...what do I do?

Based on body shape and posture the girl in WR is most likely Hannah I say.
Rest of WR not help to predict events. The wood panelling behind bath in WR suggest Eve Cathedral or Wilkes' mansion in which have not seen bathroom(s) yet. Only bathroom shown so far is Heather's and that looks different.
On other hand this according to trailer happen somewhere:
So some remote possibility exists for more Madalyn maybe - which is always good but very, very, very unlikely in this context.
