Depends on where you saved if using the 35% save, that is: saving in the mansion at end of game.I've played up to this point around 20 times and never managed to activate it...
Or seemingly if you play the v.37 chapter starting with a 33% save file and go straight to mansion it triggers incorrectly.

It is possible to do things out of order ( like the meeting in the forest back a few builds ) but if you go logically step by step as the game instructs you to do it... it won't trigger ( as far as I managed to fuck around with it
)Almost forgot... saving anywhere else than the world map is asking for a disaster in RPGMaker... I would not put this into the bugs since there is no way to go around it... but certainly the warning issues as to not save wherever the fuck you like at the end of the update(s) is clearly known and read by most of the people that come across this malfunction

This was just one of those things that shouldn't have happened but did from what I have read.
Edit to add, I'm guessing you were starting from a 35% save? We know you save on the map so would have been fine.
If you have it, try playing from a 33% save and go straight to the mansion and take the stairs to the left
Sure. The fact that those are telltale signs of mixing compressed vs uncompressed official versions and/or missing updates can't possibly be what's wrong with your setup.
is there any way i can get unstuck in this position i cant move anywhere or does someone maybe have a save after that point

I don't think so. The leper claims that "Mother trusts [MC]" while speaking to Madalyn. The only person who fits the role of "Mother" there is Lillian, which suggests that they are two different people with two different agendas, although Lillian may be more than she seems to be.Lilliane is Madalyn

Has a save file at the end of v33071/start of v35072, as well as end of v35072/start of 37081, I don't know which of those you're looking for

Is this a glitch or is there supposed to be scene in the Mansion with Madalyn on the second floor early in the game? I was at the part where you 'escort' Erica to work and then 'get her off'. Madalyn is just.. there. On the couch shlicking, and if you go in the room after Erica's scene is over it triggers an event with Madalyn that's clearly not supposed to be happening yet.

When noodles post their error along with an attachment ( which usually comes in a form of a pic saying : Loading error Failed to load xxxxxx whatever.PNG!!! ) you already have confirmation of a compressed - regular version mixture since the regular version does not bear .png-s ( with the 2 exception of Loading and Window in the system folder ) so posting for instance this GUI-ITEM-Grippy might help him out for the moment but since there was a mixmatch already a whole bunch of files get fucked with this... meaning as soon as the game would need those files the game would crash once again... only solution is a removal ( the whole game ) followed by a redownload with either a full version of regular ( official ) release OR a full version of a working compressed version !
Welp actually this isn't really right here ^... the only solution is to operate with eyes open and not fucking up your own game on purpose or by " mistake " made the 127th time

bummer about the bugs. theres one scene that pops up early of the old lady going down on herself which I think causes it to get stuck after you set the trap and open the chest in the chapel behind the mansion

MC's idiocy aside, not my favourite update. Was hoping for more Lilian content (although I appreciate the story progression, as expected she's working for/with Madalyn in some capacity). Scene with Hannah was decent and Heather blue-balling us as usual, the eventual payoff better be worth it Rest of the update was 'meh', here's hoping the next one is a bit more interesting.

Played a 33% save by loading into a 35% games - no issues at staircase
Played a 33% save by loading into a 37% games - no issues at staircase
but 33% save was saved on world map ....

It doesn't necessarily will happen in this update... but there are a lot of files in an update patch... one mix will cost you hundreds or files go awry
The end result maybe shows up with dunno v43 for instance but the mix happened in v35 for example This will lead to an endless fails missing ( ? welp not really missing just in the wrong form ) files crash reports and cry outs for help

Presumably the "Mother" must have met the MC and got to know the MC if she trusts him.
(So in theory could be Heather, Carol, Andrea or Nellie if taken literally.) Mother could be Lillian with the word referring to an office or title belonging to her inside her cult perhaps. Or maybe Nellie who seems to be a kind of Godmother figure, like female version of a Mafia Godfather, in the Eclipse Guild. Or maybe "Mother" refers to someone less obvious like a future mother-to-be, say, Chloe or Judy maybe, both of which trust the MC to the nines and have a history and previous involvement with Madalyn. Or perhaps the Mother thing is just a snatch of meaningless nonsense exchanged, between two game characters for no reason, tossed into the mix by NLT Media as padding and leading nowhere. NLT Media games are usually less than meets the eye.
