I'm using windows 10 operating system and I have the same problem as you... maybe it's a game bug

Nope, you're the 1st dude in the last week and 20 pages to report it. Oh wait .....
I believe I figured out the problem. I skipped one or two updates when it says the update only you have go version by version. Can't skip them. But I already deleted my save lol. So I don't want to start over.
But I can't get the game to notice the save file from the save category. So allwell

Uhh, you should still be able to use at least my saves ? If that doesn't work, then do it the old fashioned way which would be to save on the 1st slot so that the savefile has something to forcefully overwrite and try it then. Don't forget the other 2, global and config, since you also need those.
And on that note, don't use the compressed version. That's exactly why. You're always warned to use those at your own risk as they can break your game.

Anyone come across a weird bug where David is at this computer, but is interrogating Nellie at the same time? Cause I can't get his attention like this and entering in a wrong password more then once isn't working either.

No. You have to download and install each of the updates, in the correct order, to have a functioning game.

Nice, over 5 years before 1st post and we get something already asked and anwesred over 20 time since the update came out. Also being the 4th in 2 days. Pure win
After finishing the scene in the chapel in the forest, the screen went black and this appeared. I tried everything to unbug it but nothing worked. The save that I have for some reason is broken and after I press escape, it goes back to this point. No mods, no cheats, "clean" gameplay.

And as we've said, literally around 20-30 times to 20-30 different people, version 37081 is bugged. A hotfix (37083) has been released, but hasn't been posted here, so you either use someone else's save or wait for the new update in 2 weeks.
