You have to dig up stuff in the Forest. What I usually do is, go in and out of the Forest like 6-8 times or so, then spam click the entire screen so my character walks everywhere. The "treasure", as I'll call it, has a very small hitbox around them, so they only spawn when you're 1-2 steps away from them. Then you sell them to the guy at the warehouse and repeat. I got all the current stuff in the store (about $2500-3k I think), in about an hour and a half.
I didn't even see the patch, calm down. Point is that even without the patches involved the past NLT games were pretty heavy on the hinting at it, so I'm simply surprised to see that it's pretty clear that it's not intended as of yet.
This MC doesn't have the advantage of a female population that has been drinking diluted potion for weeks.

True. The potion has to figure in somehow. Perhaps they're just a bit farther downstream and the potion hasn't hit yet. Of course, the previous two MC's my show up to try and sell people their potion.
