Ok, so I apparently I absolutely suck at using the search function because it never turns up what I'm looking for. Search search search and I get nothing. I was going to ask, but during my searching, anybody who knows anything about this sight comes back with a holier than thou attitude and insults. I'm just gonna search elsewhere

You can set your searches to "Most Recent" in your account "Preferences"
To change, click on your "User Name" at the top of the page. Then scroll down and select "Preferences" Next scroll down to "Search Options"
Click on "Most Recent" and your searches will be in date order, last first.

Might help, but often with some things (co/\/\pressed, for example) too many people ask 3x per page.

Again: I already posted a link on to how to use the search properly (and changing your preference for the search results is part of it), and secondly I already "debunked" that searching for something like "compressed" will lead to hundreds of useless results. If people in 2023 don't know how to use a search function, I'm lost for words (and I'm counting towards "Generation X", so I'm an old fuck)...
What are you looking for exactly?

This can depend on WHEN you search, if enough people are asking en-masse. I would add to your instructions to check more than the first page after sorting for that very reason.
EDIT - Also, suggest adding a version number. That usually helps as well.

To be honest: if you check how many post with something like "compressed...?!" are posted between updates, that's not necessary at all, it's usually less than a page of search results. And I'm not going to tell people "If you can't find what you're looking for on the first page, please click on 'Go To the next page of search results'" -- like I have to tell people how to breath
Agreed. The post I linked is the most basic version of how to use the search. If people in 2023 don't know how to use search engines in general, something else went wrong in the first place, and they should not be allowed to use the internet at all

NOTE - I'm a gen-X'er too. I actually know what the DDS is, and how to use a card-catalog. The creativity we learned in that pre-Net era is lost on i-Gen.

Well. Maybe a top-tier patron of NLT Media will share their game and updates when they get them. (Which I think is probably unlikely because it's so expensive.) On the other hand there's a load of "casual" NLT Media patrons who get the game six weeks after release of the most recent version, so instead of getting the latest version of the game, on update days, like now, maybe a "casual" user will post a retro version of the game on f95zone for us to enjoy. Or maybe we will still have access to a cracked updater like many of us use now to keep our games current?
Who knows? I would be very surprised if some ingenious person didn't cobble together a solution of some sort.

TGO updates shared here are home-made from files taken from versions of TGO which have been updated using cracked NLT Media launchers. Without cracked launchers there would be no timely updates. The next game will have it's own new, improved and unique updater/launcher, which may not be crackable, in which case there will be no updates for for the new game shared on f95zone unless a top tier patron of NLT Media steps up to donate them.
That's the situation.

And not just for NLT games but all of them...Might be a good idea to those eager beavers to rethink what they are doing...
Trouble with NLT Media is that their top tier Patreon subscription is really costly, too costly for most people who visit this site I would have thought.To be honest this was the case pretty much from the start of this site...

(Especially if they support more than one developer.) I can afford $2 a month to be a "Casual" NLT Media patron but $25 a month for "Grand Master" membership, where you get the latest version of the game and it's updates immediately after release, is way too rich for my blood. On the NLT Media blog they've several times mentioned a new launcher is being developed, for the new game, but whether this will turn out to be crackable or not I have no idea. If not I'll just play older versions of the game as and when they become available. People on this site seem happy to wait months for updates to many games so why get uptight about being six weeks behind wealthier "Grand Masters" when it comes to NLT Media's future games? Life is too short to waste worrying or angry about shit like that.

This usually means you installed an update without all previous updates. You can't skip any.
If you don't know which you missed, you'll have to re-download the entire game.
