They become breakable once you obtain the Hammer-Shovel by activating gargoyle inside the cave and you get the shovel inside the mansion. Try talking to the regular npcs in the game. Hint systems have been made much easier in this game.

Not like you can buy more than 10 junk items for your house and that said junk doesn't cost much. Making $ is a useless as it was in early ToN. On top of all the story-based mega $ drops, you get a passing grade in "I whine on useless stuff cause I can't be bothered to play more than 5 mins and grind basic $ items" 101, grats

Where is demoness Madalyn Rose and why did she relocate from Cape Vedra particularly to North Santiva?
Theory: Source of magical waters beneath Sofia mansion, in fountain of youth, is a spring beneath the Wilkes mansion in North Santiva.
