Went on hunt, found a cursed item, went straight to the girl in the adult shop, still nothing.

Not sure what you do different, but the sequence is usually: witch tells you about cursed items and that she will pay for them. You pick up a hunt and find something and sell it to her. Take a new hunt and dont sell the next item. When you go back to the adult shop the girl should tell you, that she would be willing to buy those things as well. Every sold item adds 1 to her relation after that

Thanks for the clarification. I didn't realize since (afaik) you can't check this page during hunts. Still feels a bit weird that including ectoplasm as evidence excludes mimic if it's supposed to be one of the things a mimic always has

You can check the page by clicking on the cartoon ghost next to the checklist

You got your issue right there probably. Your cheating seems to circumvent some trigger convo or text, that one experiences when not cheating. Cant help you with that except tell you that in regular plays it works like a charm.

Its like in Phasmo where this one ghost has orbs but the orbs themselves arent an evidence but a characteristic of the ghost.

The ectoplasm isnt evidence that the thing is a mimic, but if you're down to three (including the mimic) and get ectoplasm but ecto isnt an evidence for any then you know its a mimic.

I thought it would be a nice qol improvement, if you made the pictures the clickable thing. Like when clicking a location, home for example. The house is the link, instead of the name underneath. Would really help if it was for the tools.

So I'm really not sure how I'm supposed to befriend Blake. I go to the adult shop, click "Ask the adult shop assistant", and all I get is "Hi ,need any help?" "No, thanks, I'm just looking around." Is there something I'm missing?

You need to meet Alice and raise her level to 2. After that, Blake will start giving tasks for cursed items.

So I think the furniture makes it way too hard to find clothes. It's just become a chore so much that if I want to keep them I just hit back because it's too much of a pain to look for them now.

Would be nice to see somewhere what we still have on as well.

I like the new walking home scenes and especially the spirit one.

And a cheat to lower partner sanity?

Let me put a different perspective to this: Nothing forces you to leave the house with your original clothes Be adventurous and leave naked, as it might lead you into special events. There is definitely a thought process behind this, because I have at least once experienced the game telling me, that I dont have my clothes when trying to leave. Since the game isnt fully finished yet, there is probably a good reason you might opt for not spending time looking for your clothes.

Yeah I know but sometimes I want to see different scenes. And it makes it much harder to find the hidden item too. I suppose if it's not taking that much time to check each thing in each room, it's just a lot more clicks for the same thing.

How do you solve the missing girls quest exactly?

This is a perfect change of pace, cannot wait for more situations to get into as this develops!

If you have accept to find the missing girls you will have to go first and talk to the nun at the Church. Then wait until 18:00 PM and the pictures of two missing girls will be there. After choosing which girl you want to rescue, you have now two choices:

1) go as usual ghost hunting in one of the two houses (not Elm Street) and you will find a piece of a picture. This will give you clue which house you have to look for. Then go (if you want to you can also try to find the cursed item or the identity of the ghost, but you have to rescue the girl BEFORE 18:00 next day) back to the main map. There at the bottom you will see a red arrow. Click on it and you will get to an area with a lot of houses. Now compare the piece of the picture with the houses.

2) go straight to the area with the houses and try to get to find the girl without any clues. Mind you: Each time you search a house for the girl your energy will go down.

Did the missing girls quest change? What you described isn't anything like what I did. I just randomly visited houses until I found them.

cursed hunts are harder and the missing girls quest didn't change but you can find a picture of which house when you are on a ghost hunt(just don't waste to much time there)

I saw the monkeys paw and deck of cards but didn't notice anything different.
