Game is buggued for me. I start the game, set up my first and last name, and as long as i dont close it, everything works, but if save, close it and load it again, then the game ignores the variables i set up

Hey folks, so we have like 60 some renders and I also decided to try out sound effects for the shower scene. I will add a warning to everyone to let them know that sound effects are starting for the new scene.

It took me a long time to write all the code and narrative for these scenes, stitch everything together, and I added the two sets of animations.

I am hoping to hit about 100 scenes or so near the end of the month, early Feb. I have another vacation coming up mid Feb, so I want to get something out soon. I also have a bug with the save files that I still need to resolve, but I think I am not going to fully resolve that till version 0.2. I also received some complaints about the Android build, but again, I think that is for v0.2.

So, are any of you still here for scenes with Joseph?

Hi Everyone, so version 0.1.7 is no available for my senior director level in Patreon. I will be releasing to public in a few weeks, so stand by for a new update.

I will update the notes then when I release, but basically it is dinner and fun after the yoga and shower scenes, but the Chrissy line is the only one currently which has content (Soumya and Joe content to come in another version, the branching has been a lot of work. It is partially complete, but I need to do the post dinner scenes).

I have also added a fast Track menu option, which allows you to fast forward to any part of the story you want and make the bare minimum choices that are needed to progress the story. It is a clean way to not have to rely on save files that may be out of date.

Specifics would be really helpful. I try really hard to catch everything but it can be difficult, and I certainly try to fix anything I am made aware of.

Yeah, I had some major issues with name that persisted. It should be fixed now in the new version to be released. Also, save files do not always work with the releases I have been doing because sometimes I change variables or add content to previous parts of the story. When 0.1.7 is released to public, I suggest using the Fast Track menu option and avoid using save files for now.

Hello Everyone!

New version of the game. Please see the first page of this thread. Here is the changelog.

v0.1.7 Week 01
  • Fast Track: new feature allows you to start the game and skip parts of the story by answering only the most critical questions. Great feature to use if save files are not working.
  • Yoga/gym scene ends with shower scene and dinner date possible with Chrissy (other LIs to be released later).
  • 170+ new renders and several animations.
Instead of relying on save files which are likely corrupt, please use the Fast Track feature to quickly get to new content.

You have to use the Android download links on the cover page, not the Windows ones.

I saw a sissification planned tag. Please don't abandon it and also the game in general. A lot of good games like this always get abandoned. I can understand life is a bitch and we're not always given the luxury of a choice but please try to finish it. As far as I can see this one is good. Please continue to work on this.

Okay, so I decided to check out this partial update. Here's some observations.

  • Previously set variables such as the MC's name aren't persistent - resets to the default 'Donald'.
  • Fast Track in theory sounds great but you need to know the last day you played - new content isn't indicated / highlighted. Maybe add chapter nos to the day selection entries?
  • Renders at the restaurant are *very* dark - maybe notch up the lighting a bit?
  • This partial update is very short and has almost no content. Only one path (Chrissy) and only half (MC is sub) of it to boot. IMHO somewhat small for the time it took to develop this.

Yes, the lighting needs some rethinking...
And it would be good to have the possibility to name saves. We can do it ourselves if changing the savetoken file, however...
