I remember liking the game after sticking it out without giving in, you (somehow) escape from an arena of some sort and you fuck a goblin woman. But then when you get home and there's a wizard who forces the collar and Snib on you again.

I really wish there was an out for players like me, a good ending, where you just quickly cut Snib down and none of that railroady stuff happens to you because i just hard dropped the game after that.

Like yeah you can make every good choice, you could drop a fucking nuke on Snib and the game would just miraculously revive him and stick his penis in your crying face for effect, how ironic, how dramatic! ART! I guess it is called "A goblin's pet" but it's bad writing, you can't have the main character "win" lottery after lottery and expect me to keep caring. You can start the story following someone who won the lottery, there are some lottery winners, it does happen, but it can't just keep happening to the same guy over and over.

I also get that it feeling forced is kind of the fetish i guess, but that's the point of branching stories, the same way you have bad ends that end the story prematurely, you could also have points where the nightmare ends and you get to knock up a goblin woman and raise two families with your awesome harem of MILFs instead. (or maybe force the collar on Snib?)

I played the OG version before. I could say that this is 1 of the best Goblin game, but to be honest it's made me yawn sometimes due to the lack of illustrations. But this version is the lost jigsaw for this game. The art style is right, the facial expression is right. This is the great choices for developer and i hope this project to continue and complete. Agree, but it seems like a bit of a missed opportunity that, in a game about the long, slow (not that slow) corruption of a male hero into a female whore, there isn't some scene or outcome where the hero is stuck in the middle, and the corruption of the female persona bleeds over into his male side. Like, he gets his male body back magically but 'oh no, exposure to a low enough dose of goblin cum still causes chemical changes to turn him into a breeder', so he starts growing tits and hips, maybe plays the the hero during the day but sneaks out to the brothel in disguise to get some 100% Non-Toxic, Safe for Human Consumption jizz, as a treat, to satisfy his urges. Ideally, a good ending where he's still 'male' but he and his wife have a more equal sex life. But I know that male feminization doesn't butter everybody's biscuit.

I get that, for me it's the psychological aspect I like. I will def do a pure female protagonist type of game in the future, but I typically LOVE feelings of loss or some CENTRAL corrupting element. SOOooo it will probably either have NTR, or lots of interspecies stuff. I'm too fucked up to do ANYTHING normal!!! Hence I will never make anything mainstream hahahaha and 90% of gooners will never play my games sadly such is life, I enjoy it way too much to make anything that doesn't really get me going

Well I would say the goblin-rape-corruption-enslavement isn't really mainstream but hey i guess there is different baseline to what people consider meainstram You could add monster and zoo stuff to that as well, but maybe that happens in the goblin story, I haven't really gotten far yet.

It's a great game btw, really. Really nice corruption and all ! (just the transformation thing irks me somewhat) Anyway much appreciated that you even bothered to reply!

The only other "realy" critique would be that there could be more illustrations, but I guess there could never be enough of these, even if it was a visual novel.

Yeah, I promise you, the bad end of Chapter 4 is gonna piss of EVEN MORE people because it will involve voyeuristic stuff with Elara getting fucked by Snib, and Elise getting fucked by Snib's horse... yeah................. it's not gonna win me any awards but it will be very hot (to me). There will be a "good" bad end and a "bad" bad end basically

More ntr is always better, Snib breeding your sister, mother, or Elara's family would be nice to see.

Hmm are you playing on Firefox or have any extensions / etc? I saw someone play of firefox and for some reason exploration mode didn't "Register".

There is a way but it involves you to manipulate the HTML file. Way to do it is to open the HTML with Notepad (preferably Notepad++) and find first instance of "(set:$redos to it + 1)" and change it to "(set:$redos to it + 99)" what this does is when the game tells you about hidden gems at the start you gain +99 of them but be aware that doing this might break the game. as for me i cant start from any other chapter than the first one.

Well right now I have to get out Chapter 5, then Chapter 4 will be released publicly, at the moment I still have a big chunk of work to finish up the Chapter 4 bad ends because it's very juicy. (It's this slow-ish burn corruption mini story over 30 days)

All I can say is soon-ish! I'm glad you like Fools' Gold, I really was enjoying writing it, but haven't got a lot of feedback on it. Just another guilty pleasure of mine... I'd say it will be out just once I can work out the perfect ending.

I get what people are saying about it being male protag cause it is kinda pointless tbh. If it was a stronger warrior female protag nothing would really change. Though there could be a way with that to have the fem protag and the wife be lesbians and virgins so the goblin can take them both.

A super manly/muscular female lesbian protag could work. Basically someone who lived her whole life without knowing what it's like to be an attractive woman. Her personality/mindset could be shaped by being a manly lesbian and every other man thinks she is unattractive and intimidating.

If the dev is uninterested, It's their choice. Personally I think it could be done with just a few text/story edits and a handful of image swaps... so I'm kinda trying my hand at modding it into the game. The only problem is character and artstyle consistency. I'm still trying to figure out how to properly train a LoRA.

Its not that big of a deal though.

This is the best christmas gift! I loved the initial game abd never thought i would get more of it.
Just played my first bad end, it's really good.
I liked the original art but this AI one is nice. A few i think need improvement and i think the goblin look too "neat" in general. But it might be a design choice from the start.
I always pictured goblin to be really disgusting which is not enough here imo.
Regardless, i enjoy it a lot and can"t wait for more.

So thats why picking the 7 days of Oral sex is automatically the bad end. Gotcha, I was rerunning that route like twice now seeing if it'll be any different.

There is a sex route there as well but if you’ve already done the horsey ride through the forest it’s all bad ends from there haha!
