In the original the story left with you still in female form with Elara, hunting Snib. That was the good end.
I assume TGP recollared is a restart using new tech. Already stated the next part of the story past the original will take us to new places and situations. Maybe Alaric gets remade male, maybe Elara and Elise become Snib broodmares again, maybe the girls form a lesbian marriage and hunt gobbos, should be fun finding out.

I don't like it either but I find Aphrodite's games are good enough that it's worth it. Even though it's mentioned a lot you can just skip over that text, I'd say 70% of content so far makes sense if you imagine it's a female warrior who's been captured rather than a man changed into a woman. The gender swap happens early on and only once, there's no swapping back and forth.

This is one of the rare games that includes all the tags you hate but you are still glad that you gave it a chance. The writing and the actual porn content is top tier. Even if you hate the game and won't ever play it, just download and check the images in the game files.

Well I'm sorry the game isn't what you wanted - the idea was to take the supercharged male fantasy hero archetype and make him experience the other side + loss of his old life. For me the dynamic of Aldric/Elise's wife in the mix just makes it even more delicious, plus getting dominated by such a small and annoying creature as a goblin. That mix just DOES it for me, the loss of power, role reversal etc. But I totally get some people won't be into it and I'm sorry for that!

so i have tried the game and i must say the writing is really good at describing sex, just overall sex, organs, fluids and what not, just everything i guess especially sex scenes, breeding stuff
i always do respect games that widen my english vocabulary, thank god for fast translations by the internets and even if someone uses good browser it could automatically translate stuff to their own language as well! thats a big plus but i didnt used translate it can mistranslate some words as each of them got different meaning in certain languages

i wish the you would add more animated scenes because its thru AI however it also could be because its AI and images differ from each other too much that its hard to get a proper animation out of it... maybe...

some dialogue options dont make any difference for example my favorite route with three days mating press is absolute masterpiece, made me cum like a filthy goblin... forget i wrote that (can we have cum filling womb animations?)
it has some options that just dont matter and they costs points to unlock, i just dont know why

thats one bad thing i wrote above and now second thing i dont like, its gender-bending i would greatly preferred that we play as girl from the very beginning and she could have a husband instead but girl fighting goblins dont make much sense as they go after females mostly, the story would have to be altered to some caravan being protected by some female warrior and then its attacked by goblins and female get abducted, simple enough i think
but as i read ur response if its game that you do to your own liking first and foremost then go for it 100% its not that i dont like whole game because of it i just feel weird and dont know how to treat MC he rightfully thinks of himself as man but behaves rightfully as a woman which greatly confuses me

i still didnt get happy ending when he gets back to his wife maybe it just means im fucking degenerate that unconciously picks worst options somehow...
i really wanted to give this game 5 but until it gets rid of those technical problems i listed i think 4 would be fair for now, i really wish the game for great improvement so i can give the 5 star rating in the future

You shoudn't be sorry, after all you can impossibly expect to hit everyone's taste. I am just surprised this "tranformation" stuff is even a thing. Maybe I am already too old to even understand this specific kink properly but for me it turns the whole story somewhat "gayish" and quite honestly, I would be surprised if people who like the general rapey - goblin trope see this as a plus point, but maybe they do... If you ever feel like having excess time I' could imagine a modified introduction with a heroine (let it be in a lesbian relationship) and later the text might at many parts only be needed to be slightly modified with more or less the same outcome but hey, it's just a suggestion.

I use to have that thought process years back before I got in to this kink, it's mostly from not being able to get past the whole: this character was a man and still thinks like a male. I did get past it when I realised the core aspect of the kink is transformation and understanding that mental transformation is part of it.

Nah, it's very different, and the early scenes really go into just how different it is for the PC to be fighting goblins as a man vs woman.

As a man, the PC has never been sexual prey. Not to humans, not to goblins, not to anything else. Dealing with that change is a major part of the story and mental aspects of the transformation.

A female PC would have had to deal with being potential sexual prey for most of her life. Especially with the heightened dangers of fighting goblins as a woman in this world. It wouldn't be a new threat to her at all, so the mental issues from being enslaved would be very different for her.

Just note there is an "Exploration Mode" in the game settings where you can turn the choice locking completely off! For pure gooning, that's what I would recommend.

But anyhow, I appreciate your detailed thoughts and I am pleased with your 4/5, I hope to one day earn that 5 from you by adding QoL features! There will be stuff like save exporting in future, but I do think the Exploration Mode will solve some of your problems.

Yeah, at least in THIS story universe, she would have a totally different perspective (at least in the world of The Goblin's Pet. It's an extremely brutal world overall and kind of leans into old school fantasy medieval tropes - there are not many human female warriors in this universe. Though there are other races you'll meet in book two that have more female dominated societies. Getting off track though haha...

I get that, for me it's the psychological aspect I like. I will def do a pure female protagonist type of game in the future, but I typically LOVE feelings of loss or some CENTRAL corrupting element. SOOooo it will probably either have NTR, or lots of interspecies stuff. I'm too fucked up to do ANYTHING normal!!! My only complaint was the dissolved baby, very off-putting, which is the point of such a dark fantasy tale, and why Elise and Elara were on the hunt for Snib at the end of the original. I would never want you to take that part out. This is dark fantasy after all, not Hallmark Goblin Classics.
But you have an absolute classic of monster sex FMC submission and corruption on your hands.
I hope you keep surprising us with new stuff not in the original while keeping to the same story.
