it was the must current one when posted, but 3 hours later.... https://f95zone.to/threads/the-golden-boy-v0-5-0-serious-punch.142777/post-12695507Yeah that one I saw, got a post just below it. Or... do you mean that you just checked yesterday, and the status is the same as that one from Dec 15, 2023? If it is that, thanks a lot bro!
Why does this keep happening with devs? At first they release updates at a good pace but once their game becomes very popular, they become lazy - lack of progress, lame excuses etc. It's either this or that a good game dies because of lack of support for their work. We can't win lol.damn dude has done barely anything in over a monthoh well
I think it's actually because people asked for more content in their updates so it's going to take longer, plus we're coming from the end of year holidays. Why does this keep happening with devs? Amen Brother!I just want to bang the grandma LOL!
Haha, I wonder if you was here when he released the 1st version before rework, He did a great work and progress, especially with Kate, but when his game got popular, He reworked it with teasing and slow progress, but I don't blame the Dev, If we get enough scenes to satisfy our lust, we'll lose interest faster. Why does this keep happening with devs? Well it's only the first month of the year and im not sure what the Devs personal life is like but if the dev is the only one working on this and it's not full time thing that could explain the small amount of progressdamn dude has done barely anything in over a monthoh well
Was going to post it but I figured it wasn't worth. People are always going to complain even when they haven't looked into things. I personally prefer longer updates, and like some else said we just had the winter holidays as well. It's not because the game became popular, it's because before the updates were 3 scenes and he asked if they wanted the updates to be longer but with more content and the majority said yes.
I, too, prefer updates with more content, I have no problem with it taking time, that is, if not like in Apocalust, which has been around for 7 months or so without an update. Was going to post it but I figured it wasn't worth. Yea, not sure what's up with Psychodelusional. The only thing I can say for him is that Apocalust is much more ambitious than his first project Dark Neighborhood, which he made with no experience before hand at all and had no animations whatsoever--and he then took some months to learn how to animate, create UI elements, work on UX for chapters/navigation/choices, and then began implementing those. He also decided to change his writing style pretty drastically and took some time to work on that.I, too, prefer updates with more content, I have no problem with it taking time, that is, if not like in Apocalust, which has been around for 7 months or so without an update.
If it is quite big I totally understand it, but with the animation that he works on it it looks incredible.Yea, not sure what's up with Psychodelusional. I've never subscribed to his patreon, but he's always provided detailed updates to his patrons on his learning curve and also has membership perks besides game releases so he's always been upfront about what's going on. Also it looks like the next release is around the corner. If it's a large one 8 months wouldn't be that bad for his release cadence on this project.
