It took me 2 weeks, but I was finally able to extricate myself from the catchy music loop
So I have many good things to say and a really bad one:
Obviously, the first one is the great music selection. I'm a staunch supporter of good sound and music as a worthy addition to any adult VN.
Secondly, renders are superb. I enjoyed the detail, the facial expressions, the warmth of colours...
All the ladies are ultra hot. They somewhat remind me of the female chars in Summer's Gone, they have a similar feeling to them.
We also caught a glimpse into said girls' distinct personalities. Extra point for the dev.
Choices. At this point we can't really tell how important they will be, but I liked the fact that there were quite a few for such a short first episode.
Now my only complaint, but it's a big one:
Animations and the sex scene. That flashback sex scene right at the end of the chapter was really bad.
Precooked Daz animations, which on top of that played automatically at breakneck speed. That's not how you make a hot and satisfying sex scene. Either you make your own good animations or, if you can't at this moment, you provide lots of sexy renders showing the foreplay, the characters getting naked, the sexual intercourse from different angles, positions, etc.
If one feels that they need to use to those precooked animations at all cost, at least they should allow players to control when they move on and complete the scene with many renders. The whole "scene" lasted 15 seconds.
I hope this was a one-time thing given the nature of the flashback, that simply provided some background information about the MC's previous relationship with that particular girl. Hopefully, all sex scenes from now on will match up with the gorgeous renders in the rest of the game.
